WEAVE STORY Alexander Rose commenced production of woven furniture in 2006 and our presence started in a new and expanding market with products meeting the customer desire for low maintenance, high quality outdoor furniture. It was immediately evident that we had much to offer the market, with our unique designs and high quality weaving. In 2007 we invested in our own purpose built factory on the island of Cebu in the Philippines, in order to directly manage the production and delivery of our own quality furniture. Since that time, the woven furniture market dramatically increased and as a result, we moved to a larger factory to accommodate this greater demand. Our in-house aluminium framing department skilfully fabricate and weld the intricate carcasses that are then powder coated in colours to match the Rose Fibre before weaving commences. At our factory we implement best practice environmental policies; the synthetic weave and aluminium raw materials are 100% recyclable, and all wastage is reused to make small components on many of our products. Every piece of furniture in our woven collection is hand-woven by our experienced craftsman who produce what we believe to be amongst the most beautiful woven furniture in the world today.

All of our weave has been expertly handcrafted by our team of highly skilled weavers in the Philippines. We ensure a high quality of life for our weavers by making sure their social and economic needs are met for them and their families. Its these welfare standards that encourage our workers to continue to work for us from generation to generation.

This range embodies the innovation of Alexander Rose, continuing to challenge the boundaries of design and functionality. The Ocean range is woven in a beautiful ‘V’ and open weave pattern using 7mm & 12mm flat triple tone bronze Rose Fibres. Ocean cushions are made using oatmeal olefin fabric and come with a 2 year warranty.

Alexander Rose introduced the Ocean Pearl to celebrate 10 years of the established Ocean collection. The mixed tones of the Pearl coloured Rose Fibres gives a lighter option to the Ocean Bronze, whilst keeping the iconic designs of the original Ocean Bronze range. Ocean Pearl is woven in a 7mm flat Rose Fibre in a traditional basket style pattern. Ocean Pearl cushions are made using pearl olefin fabric and come with a 2 year warranty.

MAINTENANCE WEAVE MAINTENANCE We recommend that woven furniture is cleaned at least once a year. It is important to use a non-foaming cleaner on woven furniture, as a foaming product will leave residues in the gaps in between the weave which will then attract dirt. A pressure hose on a wide spray setting is acceptable to use on woven chairs at a distance of approximately one metre from the product. Tables should be cleaned carefully with a sponge and a cleaning agent. Follow the instructions below: • Apply lukewarm water with a soft cloth or sponge. • Brush the furniture clean with a soft scrubbing pad. • Rinse furniture well with clean water. Scratch marks or abrasion to the edges of the fibre can be repaired by very briefly and carefully applying heat (i.e. a hair dryer) to the affected area and rubbing along the length of the fibre with a piece of hard cardboard to restore a smooth edge. To clean the table top glass we suggest the use of any household glass or window cleaner.

ROSE FIBRES Alexander Rose woven furniture is made from only the highest quality synthetic man-made fibres available, Rose fibres (excluding Monte Carlo). Rose fibres are UV and fully weather resistant, and also insensitive to differences in temperature. The Rose fibres are produced by Viro, and are tested rigorously to ensure they meet our exacting standards.
