ACADEMICS Holy Family prepares students for college and beyond through a rigorous, hands-on learning environment. Small, interactive classes allow students to engage with material while receiving individual feedback and support from dedicated teachers.
Learning Structure • Block Schedule: Students attend up
to four 80-minute classes each day on alternating Purple and Gold Days.
• Access Period: Built into the end of each
day, this dedicated time allows students to meet with teachers for extra help.
Our curriculum is designed to challenge • Academic Calendar: Two semesters and support students across a wide range per year, with a traditional letter grading of academic abilities. We offer 48 Honors system. and AP courses, as well as personalized academic assistance for those who need it. In 2025, 297 students took 556 AP exams, a testament to our academic ambition and student achievement.

CATHOLIC CULTURE At Holy Family, faith is more than tradition – it’s a daily presence that shapes who we are. While we are proudly Catholic, we welcome students and families of all faiths. The Our Lady Queen of Angels Chapel is the spiritual heart of our school. Here, students can attend daily Mass, spend time in Adoration, go to daily Confession, or pray the Rosary. Each week, the entire school gathers for Mass – uniting our community. Father John Stapleton, a 2005 Holy Family graduate, is our full-time Chaplain and available to all students for faith direction.

Through eight semesters of theology, students explore their beliefs, ask big questions, and grow in their relationship with God. We even offer a course that supports students preparing to receive the Sacraments of Initiation - Baptism, Confirmation, and First Holy Communion. Holy Family High School is the sole Catholic high school in the Archdiocese of Denver under the direction of the Archbishop of Denver.
Service
Service is central to our mission as a Catholic school. Every Holy Family student completes at least 70 service hours before graduation – putting faith into action through meaningful acts of compassion and community support.
Liturgical Ministries Students are invited to take an active role in our liturgical life – serving as lectors, altar servers, musicians, and Eucharistic ministers. Through these ministries, they share their gifts in service to God and the school community.
Ut Fidem Latin for “Keep the Faith,” Ut Fidem is an optional Campus Ministry program with weekly small group meetings led by adult faith mentors. Students learn how to defend their Catholic faith and develop relationships with Jesus that last beyond their years at Holy Family.
Retreats Students participate in yearly retreats, designed to detach them from everyday distractions, offer time to encounter God, reflect on His Love and plan for their lives. Freshmen participate in a one-day retreat designed to unite the class and lay the foundation for strong relationships and spiritual connection.
Holy Family’s Theology Department leads a group of juniors on a summer pilgrimage to Italy. This popular journey is more than just a trip; it is a unique opportunity for our students to experience the roots of our Catholic heritage.

Robotics at Holy Family In its first year of competition, Holy Family’s Robotics Team made an impressive debut - ranking as high as 3rd in Colorado and 66th nationally while competing at the Colorado State Championships and at prestigious national events. Through innovation, teamwork, and skill, the team quickly established itself as a rising force in competitive robotics.

Holy Family Cafeteria Our cafeteria is committed to serving high-quality and affordable meals. With a team of eight dedicated cooks, we prepare daily menus from scratch using fresh ingredients. Popular favorites include our freshly baked cookies, served every day. Students enjoy a variety of options, including hot meals and a full salad bar. Parents can add money in their student’s lunch account at any time through the PaySchools Central app. 9

That’s why each student is paired with two dedicated counselors throughout their time here: a School Counselor who walks alongside them from freshman year through graduation, and a College Counselor who helps them prepare for life beyond high school.

Student Services Empowering Every Student to Succeed Holy Family is committed to supporting students with learning differences by providing the tools, strategies, and encouragement they need to grow into confident, independent learners. At the heart of our Student Services program is the Guided Studies course, which offers individualized instruction and coaching focused on executive functioning, study habits, test-taking strategies, note-taking, and critical thinking.

Holy Family reviews each applicant’s academic record, character, and potential for community contribution.
Report Cards: Grades from 7th and 8th grade are reviewed.
Teacher Assessments: Confidential evaluations from Middle School Math and English teachers provide insight into academic development/ readiness and character.
Attendance & Behavior: Strong attendance and positive behavior records from the prospective student’s Middle School are important factors.
Tuition: 2025-26 Tuition Rates Affiliated Catholics recognized by a Parish* - $18,030 Unaffiliated Catholics and Non-Catholics - $19,060 *Requires a Parish Affiliation Form signed by the parish priest.
Associated Fees: • $350 non-refundable registration/holding fee is due at
registration. This fee is deducted from you 2026-27 tuition.
• $1,000 per student facilities improvement fee. • Books, yearbook, and athletic fees are not included in tuition.
High School Placement Test (HSPT) Scores: Standardized test results help assess skills in math, reading, comprehension, and writing.
