Agenda of the Senate Hofstra University Student Government Association April 17th, 2025 Hofstra University Call to order ​ Meeting Called to order at 6:51 EST A.​ Quorum Call a.​ Quorum set to 25 B.​ New Business a.​ Senator Rades moves to open the gallery i.​ Motion seconded ii.​ Motion passed b.​ WELCOME THE ALUMNI PANEL! i.​ Alumni Stadeker: I started in SGA my junior year as a Senator, and then was Wellness and Campus Safety Chair my Senior year. I was very involved across campus until my graduation in Spring 2023. I am doing my Masters at Columbia, and I am about to graduate shortly! ii.​ Alumni Jones: I graduated from Hofstra in 1987. I was in SGA from freshman to Senior year. I was on approps all 4 years, and then was Comptroller my Senior year. I currently work in consulting firms utilizing my degree in computer science. iii.​ Chair DiSanto: What was the biggest thing you worked on during your time in Student Government? 1.​ Alumni Stadeker: I would say the biggest thing I worked on that I am sure you guys are still working on expanding is the free menstrual products on campus. It was an initiative that started years prior, and it was great to see that come to fruition. I think increasing engagement with PSafe and the students was also a big initiative. My experience was overall an amazing experience to grow as a leader. 2.​ Alumni Jones: I was on Appropriations the entire time, and as Comptroller I signed off on the financials.
