Panelists include Monique Fitzgerald, Climate Justice Organizer, Long Island Progressive Coalition; and Kaneïta Marcelin, Community Organizer, Long Island Progressive Coalition.
Several students performing sustainability-related research at Hofstra will present short 8-10 minute talks about their projects. Facilitated by Professor Jase Bernhardt, Associate Professor, Director of Sustainability Studies, Department of Geology, Environment and Sustainability.

Al Fredericks, Esq., retired attorney who practiced in the areas of land use and environmental law, and is presently the Political Chair of the Sierra Club's Long Island Group. John L. Turner currently works part-time in the Division of Land Management of the Town of Brookhaven, and serves on a part-time basis as a Conservation Policy Advocate for the Seatuck Environmental Association.
