Saturday April 16th and Sunday April 17th , 2016 Session I: Saturday April 16th 4-7:45 pm, Hofstra University Fitness Center * Registration begins at 3:30 pm at the Hofstra University Fitness Center. At the time of registration you will need your completed waiver and one full body photo of yourself. You will also be asked to fill out an Audition Application. A resume’ is preferred but not required.
Dress: jazz shoes, dance shorts, sports bra, hair secure and off face Session will consist of stretch and technical/acro skills. There may or may not be a cut at the end of the session. Session II: Sunday April 17th 11 am -3 pm, Hofstra University Fitness Center Dress: jazz shoes, dance shorts, tank top/sports bra, hair secure and off face Session will consist of learning choreography: jazz, contemporary, pom, hip hop, and game day. There may or may not be a cut at the end of this session. Session III: Sunday April 17th 4 pm, Hofstra University Fitness Center Dress: dancers may choose their own attire for this session Session will consist of prepared solo performances. Dancers may be interviewed during this session. This is the end of the audition process. The 2016-2017 Hofstra University Dance Team will be named shortly after the end of the audition process. Anyone who makes the team must stay for an information meeting. GOOD LUCK!
