2022 Lives in Public Policy and Public Service Address How Can Political Advocacy Change Policy? Etana Jacobi, (Hofstra '12, Global Studies and Political Science), Deputy Political and Legislative Director, Communications Workers of America (IUE-CWA) The Lives in Public Policy and Public Service lecture series of the Peter S. Kalikow School of Government, Public Policy and International Affairs invites speakers each academic year to share their journey into public service with faculty and students. The lecture series seeks to engage students who are keenly interested in pursuing their passion for public service and policymaking.

Advance registration is required. To RSVP, visit events.hofstra.edu. ALL GUESTS (Hofstra students, faculty, and staff, as well as visitors) that attend an indoor Hofstra University-sponsored event must be fully vaccinated. Evidence of vaccination will be required at the time of entry with Hofstra PridePass or proof of vaccination and government ID. Masks covering the mouth and nose must be worn at ALL indoor events on campus.
