HeldatPerthHockeyStadiumandFletcherPark,theChampionshipsareatrue celebration of country hockey – showcasing the skill, passion, and strong communityspiritthatdefinethegameacrossregionalWA.

This year’s event will feature 73 teams, with hundreds of players, coaches, officials, and supporters set to be part of this proud and long-standing tradition

The competition gets underway with the Women’s Country Championships from Friday 19 June to Sunday 21 June, followed by the Men’s Country ChampionshipsfromFriday26JunetoSunday28June

The 2026 Women’s Country Championships are set to deliver another thrilling showcase of regional hockey, with 47 teams competing across five Open divisions and two Masters divisions – up from 44 teams in 2025. With new associations entering the competition, returning contenders building momentum, and reigning champions defending their crowns, this year’s tournamentshapesasoneofthemostcompetitiveyet.

DivisionOne

While reduced to four teams, Division One remains elite. Bunbury & Districts Hockey Association leads the field as back-to-back defending champions, chasingaremarkablethree-peat.Esperancereturnsafterarunnerupfinishin 2025, determined to go one better, while Lower Great Southern (third) and Geraldton(fourth)roundoutahigh-quality,tightlycontesteddivision.
