HeldatPerthHockeyStadiumandFletcherPark,theChampionshipsareatrue celebration of country hockey – showcasing the skill, passion, and strong communityspiritthatdefinethegameacrossregionalWA.

This year’s event will feature 73 teams, with hundreds of players, coaches, officials, and supporters set to be part of this proud and long-standing tradition

The Championships also play a crucial role in the pathway to higher honours, servingasakeyselectioneventforplayersaimingtorepresentWAatthe2026 HockeyAustraliaCountryChampionshipsinBendigo,VictoriathisAugust.

The competition gets underway with the Women’s Country Championships from Friday 19 June to Sunday 21 June, followed by the Men’s Country ChampionshipsfromFriday26JunetoSunday28June

The2026Men’sCountryChampionshipswillsee26teamscompeteacrossfour Open divisions and two Masters divisions, setting the stage for a highly competitive tournament showcasing the strength of regional hockey across Western Australia. In2026,DivisionOneshapesasafiercelycontestedcompetitionfeaturingfour teams Defending champions Bunbury & Districts Hockey Association headline the division as they pursue an extraordinary fifth consecutive title. Standing in their way are Upper Great Southern, who placed third in 2025, Eastern Goldfields, who finished fourth, and Lower Great Southern, returning to the top tierforthefirsttimesince2024.

DivisionTwo&Three(CombinedPool)

In 2026, Divisions Two and Three will merge into an exciting combined format featuringeightteams.

Teams will be split into two pools of four, with division honours determined by performancesacrossbothPoolandCrossOvermatches

UpperGreatSouthernreturnasDivisionTwochampionswiththeirsightsseton back-to-back titles, while Division Three champions Pilbara Krocs have a strongopportunitytoclaimanewdivisioncrown

New for 2026, the combined Division Four & Masters Division Two competition offers an exciting platform for both developing and returning teams. The seven-team lineup includes Busselton, Central Great Southern, Eastern Goldfields,Geraldton,RoeDistricts,UpperGreatSouthernandWACountry.

Central Great Southern, who finished third in Masters Division Two last season, and WA Country will be aiming to take the next step, while Upper Great Southern – a Masters champion in 2024 – adds further strength and intriguetothecompetition.

As a newly formed division, it presents a clean slate, with all teams eager to establish themselves and set the standard in this fresh tierofcompetition.
