THE ECHO LOUNGE

PROCEEDS FROM THIS EVENT WILL SUPPORT THE ELA HOCKADAY FUND FOR FACULTY EXCELLENCE

SUPPORTING ITS FACULTY IS ONE OF HOCKADAY’S MOST SIGNIFICANT FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES.

Hockaday’s excellent teachers enrich our girls’ education and bring a freshness and vitality to the classrooms that is uniquely engaging to the young women of Hockaday.

The Ela Hockaday Fund for Faculty Excellence allows Hockaday to attract and retain the best and brightest faculty who prepare our girls to lead exceptional lives. The Fund supports professional development, graduate studies, faculty salaries, and other enrichment.

Hockaday supports faculty excellence by funding professional development opportunities that include a combination of conferences, workshops, and study grants that support academics, curriculum development, and professional growth.

The faculty who benefit from these professional experiences supported by The Ela Hockaday Fund for Faculty Excellence return to their classrooms, energized and inspired with new ways to help Hockaday girls embrace learning!

Welcome

DR. LAURA LEATHERS

Dear Hockaday Parents, Alumnae, Faculty, and Friends:

Welcome to the Hockaday Celebration 2026: LIMITLESS! The Celebration Committee has taken the party off campus for a fun and festive evening for the community and is delighted to welcome our treasured Hockaday Parents, Faculty, Staff, Trustees, and Alumnae to the festivities, which include dancing, delicious food from Food Glorious Food, and live music.

The proceeds will benefit The Ela Hockaday Fund for Faculty Excellence. The Ela Hockaday Fund for Faculty Excellence endows Hockaday with additional resources that allow the School to attract and retain the best and brightest faculty. The Fund supports professional development, graduate studies, faculty salaries, and other enrichment opportunities for our faculty.

Please enjoy perusing the program for this year’s Celebration, which features auction highlights, and lists the many people, businesses, donors, and volunteers who make this extraordinary celebration of Hockaday’s community possible. Your generosity speaks volumes to our girls about the importance you place on their education and strengthens our ability to attract and retain the best faculty for our students.

As you celebrate with friends, please remember the many donors and volunteers who make this night possible and toast Robin Gelinas Berkley ’93, our Celebration Chair, and Laurie Sudbury, our HPA President in recognition of their leadership and dedication to Hockaday.

With appreciation,

Dr. Laura C. Leathers

Thank You

CELEBRATION 2026 CHAIR

Dear Friends,

When I arrived at Hockaday as a ninth-grade student many years ago, I remember the sense of freedom I felt being in a place that encouraged me to shine brightly—never suggesting that I should be quiet or make myself smaller. Hockaday didn’t simply encourage girls to be smart, curious, strong, and kind; it expected it. My time at Hockaday lasted just four years, but the impact of the experience continues to shape my life even today. Now, as a parent, I am grateful to watch my daughter develop the confidence and knowledge that come from an education—whether in the classroom, on the athletic field, or on the playground—that is grounded in her LIMITLESS potential.

While the cause that brings us together is meaningful, tonight is about having a good time. Our Celebration Chairs, JoJo Fleiss and Priya Rathod, have worked tirelessly to create an evening filled with great music, delicious food and cocktails, a few surprises, and lots—and lots—of dancing. Tonight, we encourage you to let loose, enjoy this incredible community, and simply have fun.

The LIMITLESS Celebration is made possible through the generosity of the Hockaday community and friends across Dallas. From creative ideas and countless volunteer hours to the generous support of our families, faculty and staff, sponsors, and donors, this evening reflects the collective energy and commitment of so many people who believe deeply in Hockaday’s mission.

Serving as the LIMITLESS Chair has been a true pleasure and honor. The members of the LIMITLESS Committee have collaborated and supported one another all year, graciously giving their time and talents. From underwriting and sponsorships to the raffle, auction, merchandise, and socials, tonight is the culmination of countless behind-the-scenes efforts. To each of you who shared your time, creativity, and resources—I am deeply grateful and have truly loved every minute working alongside you.

Thank you for being here and for supporting the LIMITLESS potential of Hockaday girls.

With gratitude,

Robin Gelinas Berkley '93
