Complete Your Mandatory Guest Safety Briefing

You can complete most of your mandatory guest safety briefing right in the app. Tap on “Safety” and complete the life jacket demonstration and emergency horn testing. Once onboard, just remember to stop by your assigned assembly station for a quick check–in.

Time Zone Change: One Hour Ahead

Our ship will be passing through a time zone change at 2 am. We’ll be switching our ship’s time to one hour forward. Please remember to set your watches and devices accordingly. When in doubt, check the app for the correct ship time.

Dance Floor During Live Music Sets

As a family friendly ship, we encourage guests of all ages to dance! However, we kindly ask parents to be present with children under 13 on the dance floors during live music sets to offer a safe & enjoyable experience for everyone.

Luggage Delivery

Due to the high volume of luggage, we will happily deliver luggage until 5:30 pm. If you accidentally packed any prohibited items or your bag was locked please proceed to Deck 2, Midship after 5:00 pm to collect your luggage.

Seapass Account Hold Charge

You may notice a temporary hold of $99.75 on the credit card your SeaPass card is linked to. The hold is used to secure funds for anticipated onboard purchases and will be released after the end of the sailing once your final charges are settled.

Safety 1–2–3

In compliance with our Youth Evacuation Plan, children will be given colored wristbands that correspond with their muster stations. In the event of an emergency, Youth Staff will escort all children participating in Adventure Ocean activities to their muster stations for reunification with their parents/guardians.

Setting Up Your Account

If you did not set up an account during Online Check-In or during boarding in the cruise terminal, you can do so in the Royal App or at the Guest Services Desk on Deck 4. Onboard Expense Accounts can be set up with a credit card, a debit card, or cash. Our ships utilize a cashless system, so your SeaPass card will be the only way to make purchases while onboard. Please note that a temporary hold of $99.75 will be placed on your card to verify funds. Onboard purchases over $100 will generate additional holds. The hold will be released within 3 to 5 business days after your cruise ends, but can take up to 30 days, depending on your bank. You may add other guests to your expense account by visiting the Guest Services desk. A daily limit can be placed on arcade spending. All charges can be viewed in the Royal Caribbean App or on your Stateroom TV. Printed receipts will be provided for each onboard purchase, and a preliminary statement will be delivered to your stateroom on the last night of your cruise. A final statement will be e-mailed to you within 24 hours of departing the ship on the last day of your cruise. Guests on a cash account will need to settle their account at Guest Services prior to disembarking the ship.

Specialty Dining reservations can be made through the Royal Caribbean App. You may also dial [7000] on your stateroom phone and select the restaurant you wish to dine in or visit the restaurant and make a reservation with the Maitre d' outside. The Maitre d' can also assist you with making changes to your seating.

Room Service

Continental breakfast is complimentary. Both the All-Day Menu and American Breakfast will have a delivery fee of $7.95 plus an 18% gratuity for each order. To view the menu, visit the Royal App or browse on the TV in your stateroom. When you’re ready to order, dial [7000] from you r stateroom phone.

How To Purchase Internet Packages

How much are gratuities?

If not already pre-paid, a $18.00 gratuity ($20.50 for Suite guests) is added to each guest's onboard account daily to help recognize superior service from crew during your cruise. This gratuity is shared among dining & culinary services staff, stateroom attendants, and other hotel services teams working behind the scenes. In addition to daily gratuities, an 18% gratuity is automatically added to all beverage, mini bar items, specialty dining and 20% spa & salon purchases

Tender Ticket Distribution for Cabo San Lucas

The ship will be anchored offshore at Cabo San Lucas, and transportation to and from the port will be provided via tender boats. Guests Going Ashore Independently will require a tender ticket to go ashore. Tender ticket distribution will take place today from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm, in the Vintages on Deck 5 at the back of the ship. Only one member of your party is required to collect tickets on behalf of all members of your family or group. Tender tickets will not be required for Cabo San Lucas Day 2. Please refer to the letter sent to your stateroom for more details. Guests on Royal Caribbean Shore Excursions , tender tickets are not required. Please follow the instructions on your shore excursion ticket.

Bringing Food Ashore

Due to port health regulations, food, including fruits, vegetables and drinks, is not allowed to be taken off the ship when visiting a port or a fine will be issued.

How to Get Ashore

Today we’ll be using tenders to take you to and from the port. Please wait comfortably in one of our lounges or public areas for your tender ticket number to be called. Announcements are only made in public areas and not inside your stateroom. Please ensure that you have your entire family, party or group together when getting off the ship as waiting is not permitted on Deck 3 or below, or at the tender loading area. For guests on a Royal Caribbean Shore Excursion , you are not required to obtain a tender ticket. The last tender will depart from shore to the ship at 11:00 pm today, and will resume again tomorrow at 6:15 am from ship to shore and at 6:30 am from shore to ship the same morning.

Wheelchairs & Scooters on Tenders

Tenders are accessible to guests who use collapsible wheelchairs and scooters who can take a few steps. Full–time mobility wheelchair & scooter users who are unable to take a few steps may be able to take the bigger tender at the midship gangway. The last big tender will depart from shore back to the ship at 9:30 pm today.

Mexico Tourist Tax Notice

As a reminder, as our sailing visits Mexico, select guests will see a charge related to the Mexico Non–resident Tax based on the date their reservation was made and their eligibility.

Mexico Smoking Policy

Vapes and e-cigarettes are banned in Mexico and cannot be brought ashore. Smoking cigarettes is not allowed in public places, including beaches, hotels, parks, and restaurants. Violators may face fines or jail.

Avoid the Lines and Save Time

Place a credit card on your account today in the Royal App or at Guest Services. And keep track of all your charges throughout the cruise.

Dry Off and Drop Off

Don’t forget to return your pool towels back to the designated Towel Station when you’re done! A $25 replacement fee will be charged to your SeaPass card for each unreturned towel.

Parents or guardians: If a minor (under the age of 18) is in your care, they must have adult supervision leaving and entering the ship.

Leaving the Ship and Returning from Port

Departure information is available on channel 7 with your Cruise Director Tami, who will provide essential communication on the departure process tomorrow in Los Angeles. Please refer to the flyer sent to your stateroom for departure lounges and schedule. You will be notified of your departure time on channel 2 on your stateroom television until 8:00 am, way finder maps and digital screens throughout the ship after this time. This is where the schedule will be continually updated. Please only depart the ship at your designated time.

Self–Assist Departure

For Early Departure (from 7:30 am – 8:00 am), please keep in mind that this is a self–assisted departure, luggage assistance and wheelchair assistance are not provided. Remember to carry all your belongings with you as you depart.

Don’t forget to return your pool towels back to the designated Towel Station when you’re done! A $25 USD replacement fee will be charged to your SeaPass card for each unreturned towel.
