GOOD TO KNOW Time Zone Change: One Hour Ahead
Our ship will be passing through an international time zone at 2:00 am Wednesday August 13, 2025. We’ll be switching our ship’s time to one hour forward. Please remember to set your watches and devices accordingly. When in doubt, check the app for the correct ship time.
Safety 1-2-3
Stateroom Requests After 3:00 pm your Stateroom Attendant will be glad to take care of any stateroom specific requests, such as your bed configuration, opening the joining door and more.
SeaPass Account Hold Charge
In compliance with our Youth Evacuation Plan, children will be given colored wristbands that correspond with their muster stations. In the event of an emergency, Youth Staff will escort all children participating in Adventure Ocean activities to their muster stations for reunification with their parents/guardians.
Children’s Personal Flotation Devices (PFD)
You may notice a temporary hold of $99.75 on the credit card your SeaPass card is linked to. The hold is used to secure funds for anticipated onboard purchases and will be released at the end of the sailing once your final charges are settled.
For the safety and wellbeing of children, children’s swimming pool personal flotation devices are available free of charge at the pool deck areas. Personal flotation devices (PFDs) are for use onboard the Independence of the Seas and cannot be taken off the ship.
Safe Disposal of Medical Needles
The Security Guide and embassy information is available for your review at the Guest Relations desk. Additionally, you can find this information listed on our Company website.
Do you use medical needles? Keep others safe by discarding them properly. Please see your stateroom attendant to request a sharps container.
