All Aboard: Your First Day

Your stateroom will be ready at 1:00 pm. Luggage is delivered about an hour after we sail. Use the App’s safety icon to find your muster station and watch safety videos. Schedules are on ship time — sync your watch and phone.

Luggage Delivery

We understand the urgency of getting your bags, and we’re doing everything possible to get them delivered to your stateroom as quickly as possible. If you accidentally packed any prohibited items and your bag was locked, please proceed to Deck 2 starboard side midship after 4:00 pm to collect your luggage.

Stateroom Requests

After 3:00 pm your Stateroom Attendant will be glad to take care of any stateroom specific requests, such as your bed cinfiguration, ice, pillows & towels.

SeaPass Account Hold Charge

You may notice a temporary hold of $99.75 on the credit or debit card your SeaPass card is linked to. The hold is used to secure funds for anticipated onboard purchases and will be released at the end of the sailing once your final charges are settled. Please note that the $99.75 is in US currency and the amount will vary depending on your bank’s exchange rate.

Animal Sighting Advisory

Occasionally, animals may find their way onboard our ships. For your safety, if you encounter any animals onboard, it is prohibited to interact with or touch them. We ask that you please report any sightings or encounters to any of our Officers or Crew.

Arcade Charges

Do you use medical needles? Keep others safe by discarding them properly. Please see your stateroom attendant to request a sharps container.

Smoking

All ships are non-smoking. Cigarettes, e-cigarettes, pipes, and cigars may be used only in designated open-deck areas, Deck 5 Starboard Side (5:00 am to 11:00 pm) and Deck 14 Port Side open 24 hours. Please be sure to properly dispose of cigarettes, cigars, and pipe tobacco.

ONBOARD EXPENSE ACCOUNT

Setting Up Your Account

If you did not set up an account during Online Check-In or during boarding in the cruise terminal, you can do so on the Royal App or at Guest Services on Deck 4. Onboard Expense Accounts can be set up with a credit card, a debit card, or cash.

Our ships utilize a cashless system, so your SeaPass card will be the only way to make purchases while onboard. Please note that a temporary hold of $99.75 will be placed on your card to verify funds. Onboard purchases over $100 will generate additional holds. The hold will be released within 3 to 5 business days after your cruise ends, but can take up to 30 days, depending on your bank.

You may add other guests to your expense account by visiting Guest Services. A daily limit can be placed on arcade spending. All charges can be viewed in the Royal App or on your Stateroom TV. Printed receipts will be provided for each onboard purchase, and a preliminary statement will be delivered to your stateroom on the last night of your cruise. How much are gratuities?

If not already pre-paid, a $18.50 gratuity ($21.00 for Suite guests) is added to each guest's onboard account daily to help recognize superior service from crew during your cruise. This gratuity is shared among dining & culinary services staff, stateroom attendants, and other hotel services teams working behind the scenes. In addition to daily gratuities, an 18% gratuity is automatically added to all beverage, mini bar items, specialty dining, and spa & salon purchases.

How to Get Ashore in Airlie Beach

Anthem of the Seas will be anchored offshore at Airlie Beach and will be utilizing tender boats to take you ashore and back to the ship. We will be distributing tender tickets on the morning of arrival in Airlie Beach at 7:00 am in the Theater, Deck 5 portside (left side of the ship while facing forward). Guests are required to collect the tickets only when they are ready to proceed ashore. We strongly recommend you to take towels ashore and collect them the day before from the pool towel station, Deck 14. All guests are required to carry their SeaPass card and a government-issued ID. All bottles of alcohol purchased during the visit will be confiscated by the bar team and returned to your stateroom on the last evening of the cruise. It is strictly prohibited to take ashore or to bring any food or drink items onboard. Please dispose of all food and drink items including coffee before proceeding to the gangway. Bottled water will be permitted. Please note that due to pier traffic flow, guests will not be able to return to the ship before 11:00 am. Plan your day accordingly.

How to Get Ashore in Airlie Beach

Anthem of the Seas will be anchored offshore at Airlie Beach and will be utilizing tender boats to take you ashore and back to the ship. We strongly recommend you to take towels ashore and collect them the day before from the pool towel station, Deck 14. All guests are required to carry their SeaPass card and a governmentissued ID. All bottles of alcohol purchased during the visit will be confiscated by the bar team and returned to your stateroom on the last evening of the cruise. It is strictly prohibited to take ashore or to bring any food or drink items onboard. Please dispose of all food and drink items including coffee before proceeding to the gangway. Bottled water will be permitted. Plan your day accordingly. Last shuttle bus from town will be at 4:00 pm Last tender back to the ship departs the pier at 4:30 pm.

Avoid the wait by keeping your luggage with you as you depart the ship. Self- departure times begin at approximately 6:30 am and end at 7:30 am.

Getting Offthe Ship

o Tune in to channel 7 on your stateroom television for the assigned departure times.

o Once the Self-Assist announcement is made or when you receive a notification via the Royal Caribbean App, proceed from your stateroom or departure lounge to the gangway with your luggage.

o Gangway exits will be located in the Two70°, Deck 5 or Royal Theatre, Deck 5.

Take advantage of our luggage assistance provided on the night before departure. Assigned departure times begin at approximately 7:20 am and end at 09:30 am.

Kindly note that the terminal does not have a waiting or seating area. It is essential to wait for your designated group number to be announced.

Night Before

o Leave your bags with luggage tags attached outside your door by 10:00 pm. Remember to place the luggage tag on one of your carry-on bags so your departure group is clearly identified.

o Keep travel documents, valuables, and essential medications with you.

Departure Morning

o Staterooms must be fully vacated no later than 8:00 am.

o Head to your designated departure lounge and proceed to the gangway once your departure time is announced or displayed on the digital screens

Getting Offthe Ship

o Once your departure number is called on channel 7 on your stateroom television or when you receive a notification via the Royal Caribbean App, proceed from your stateroom or departure lounge to the gangway using the elevators nearest to you.

o If you are on a Royal Caribbean shore excursion, please refer to your tour ticket for meeting point and time details You may collect your bags at the terminal.

o If you are taking independent transportation, claim your baggage at the area identified by the number on your luggage tag at the terminal, then proceed to your transportation.

o If you require wheelchair assistance, proceed to Jamie’s Italian restaurant on Deck 5 from 7:20 am to 9:20 am.

How do I close out my tab?

Your invoice will be emailed to you at the end of your cruise vacation. The credit card you provided at check-in will be automatically charged. You can also add additional gratuities to your SeaPass at Guest Services or leave cash.

There will be a hold when you link your credit card to your onboard account. The hold is used to secure funds for anticipated onboard purchases and will be released within 5 – 7 business days after your sailing.

Australian Foreign Exchange Regulations

In alignment with Australian regulations, no foreign exchange services can take place in Australian waters or in any Australian ports. If you are in need of a foreign exchange transaction or want to settle your account in Australian Dollars, please visit Guest Services Desk, Deck 4 by midnight on the last day or last evening of the cruise.

Avoid the wait by keeping your luggage with you as you depart the ship. Self- departure times begin at approximately 6:30 am and end at 7:30 am.

Getting Offthe Ship

o Tune in to channel 7 on your stateroom television for the assigned departure times.

o Once the Self-Assist announcement is made or when you receive a notification via the Royal Caribbean App, proceed from your stateroom or departure lounge to the gangway with your luggage.

o Gangway exits will be located in the Two70°, Deck 5 or Royal Theatre, Deck 5.

Take advantage of our luggage assistance provided on the night before departure. Assigned departure times begin at approximately 7:20 am and end at 09:30 am.

Kindly note that the terminal does not have a waiting or seating area. It is essential to wait for your designated group number to be announced.

Night Before

o Leave your bags with luggage tags attached outside your door by 10:00 pm. Remember to place the luggage tag on one of your carry-on bags so your departure group is clearly identified.

o Keep travel documents, valuables, and essential medications with you.

o Staterooms must be fully vacated no later than 8:00 am.

o Head to your designated departure lounge and proceed to the gangway once your departure time is announced or displayed on the digital screens

Getting Offthe Ship

o If you are on a Royal Caribbean shore excursion, please refer to your tour ticket for meeting point and time details You may collect your bags at the terminal.

o If you are taking independent transportation, claim your baggage at the area identified by the number on your luggage tag at the terminal, then proceed to your transportation.

o If you require wheelchair assistance, proceed to Jamie’s Italian restaurant on Deck 5 from 7:20 am to 9:20 am.
