Luggage Delivery

We understand the urgency of getting your bags, and we’re doing everything possible to get them delivered to your stateroom as quickly as possible. If you accidentally packed any prohibited items and your bag was locked, please proceed to Deck 2 starboard side midship after 4:00 pm to collect your luggage.

Stateroom Requests

After 3:00 pm your Stateroom Attendant will be glad to take care of any stateroom specific requests, such as your bed cinfiguration, ice, pillows & towels.

SeaPass Account Hold Charge

You may notice a temporary hold of $99.75 on the credit or debit card your SeaPass card is linked to. The hold is used to secure funds for anticipated onboard purchases and will be released at the end of the sailing once your final charges are settled. Please note that the $99.75 is in US currency and the amount will vary depending on your bank’s exchange rate.

ONBOARD EXPENSE ACCOUNT

Setting Up Your Account

If you did not set up an account during Online Check-In or during boarding in the cruise terminal, you can do so on the Royal App or at Guest Services on Deck 4. Onboard Expense Accounts can be set up with a credit card, a debit card, or cash.

Our ships utilize a cashless system, so your SeaPass card will be the only way to make purchases while onboard. Please note that a temporary hold of $99.75 will be placed on your card to verify funds. Onboard purchases over $100 will generate additional holds. The hold will be released within 3 to 5 business days after your cruise ends, but can take up to 30 days, depending on your bank.

You may add other guests to your expense account by visiting Guest Services. A daily limit can be placed on arcade spending. All charges can be viewed in the Royal App or on your Stateroom TV. Printed receipts will be provided for each onboard purchase, and a preliminary statement will be delivered to your stateroom on the last night of your cruise. A final statement will be e-mailed to you within 24 hours of departing the ship on the last day of your cruise. Guests on a cash account will need to settle their account at Guest Services prior to disembarking the ship.

Specialty Dining Reservations

Specialty Dining reservations can be made through the Royal App. You may also dial 7000 on your stateroom phone and select the restaurant you wish to dine in or visit the restaurant to make a reservation.

Room Service

Continental breakfast is complimentary. Both the All-Day Menu and American Breakfast will have a delivery fee of $7.95 plus an 18% gratuity for each order. To view the menu, visit the Royal App or browse on the TV in your stateroom. When you’re ready to order, dial 7000 from your stateroom phone.

How much are gratuities?

If not already pre-paid, a $18.50 gratuity ($21.00 for Suite guests) is added to each guest's onboard account daily to help recognize superior service from crew during your cruise. This gratuity is shared among dining & culinary services staff, stateroom attendants, and other hotel services teams working behind the scenes. In addition to daily gratuities, an 18% gratuity is automatically added to all beverage, mini bar items, specialty dining, and spa & salon purchases.

Anthem of the Seas will be docked in the busy working port of Napier with no pedestrian access. There will be shuttles transferring the guests from ship to town. The shuttle ride takes approximately 10 minutes to the city center and the drop off point is just before the I-SITE Visitor Center. Local buses and taxis are readily available from the city center. Please ensure that you have your entire family/party together when getting off the ship, as there is no waiting space at the gangway or at the pier. Last shuttle back to the ship departs at 6:00 pm.

How to Get Ashore in Wellington, New Zealand

Anthem of the Seas will be docked at the industrial port of Aothea and guests will have the option to walk from the pier to town, which is located just outside the port. The walk takes approximately 15 minutes. Taxis and Uber are available outside the port gate.

A complimentary shuttle service will be provided by the port to the city center. Please note that shuttle service is limited and delays are expected during peak hours. Guests who are able to walk are strongly encouraged to do so. The shuttle drop-off point is at Northern Lambton Quay, near the Old Government Building. The shuttle journey from the ship to the city center takes approximately 20–25 minutes depending on traffic.

If you have private tours scheduled or plan to meet friends or family ashore, we kindly ask that you arrange your meeting point accordingly:

How to get Ashore in Christchurch, New Zealand

Christchurch

Christchurch is a vibrant city with a mix of history and revitalized modern architecture. The trip to the city takes about 30 minutes from the port. Shuttle tickets cost USD $13 for ages 13 and above, USD $7 for ages 4 to 12 and are free for children under 3. The drop-off point is in Cashel Street. Tickets can be purchased on the Royal Caribbean App or at the Shore Excursions Desk, Deck 5. The last shuttle from Cashel Street back to the ship departs at 4:45 pm.

Lyttelton

Anthem of the Seas will be docked at the port of Lyttelton. There is no pedestrian access in the port and shuttles are provided to both Lyttelton and Christchurch. Lyttelton is a colorful town with a bohemian vibe, great cafes, and quirky shops. The complimentary shuttle bus takes approx. 10 to 15 minutes from the ship to the town. Guests with private excursions should use the Lyttelton shuttle and request Norwich Quay as the meeting point. The last shuttle back to the ship departs at 5:00 pm. Please note that due to local traffic, shuttles going to Lyttelton will only start operating at 9:00 am.

How to Get Ashore in Picton, New Zealand Anthem of the Seas will be docked at the working port of Waimahara Log Wharf. The town around the harbor offers cafes, restaurants, galleries, and specialty shops with attractions including a floating maritime museum and an aquarium. For the more adventurous, activities available include dolphin watching, sea kayaking and mountain biking. The shuttle buses are compulsory, as guests are not allowed to walk on the pier. The shuttle drop-off point is at the port entrance I-Site Information Center and the ride takes approximately 10 minutes. Please ensure that you have your entire family/party together when getting off the ship, as there is no waiting space at the gangway or at the pier. Last shuttle back to the ship departs at 5:00 pm.
