It’s been a bit of a wet one, and here at Blue Anchor, some areas of the park are a little wetter than normal. We look forward to the 2026 season, and fingers crossed, we have got all the bad weather out of the way so we can have an amazing season and enjoy some of the great owner events happening this year.

Holidays at Hoburne are all about making memories, and we want to offer you the chance to share your most treasured ones.

Updated reception area

We have a new look at reception, which has been freshly decorated, with new signage in the main reception area and entrance to the pool.

The Watchet Street Fair is back!

The Watchet Street Fair is back from March 1st and will be on the first Sunday of every month until October. Discover a fantastic range of stalls, from hot food to art & crafts, and much more!

Dining

pods – open from March!

Refurbishments are now complete on our exciting new dining pods! We have 3 pods that can seat up to 8 people in each and are located down from the decking at The Bay. These can be booked at The Bay and allow you to enjoy a private dining experience.

Team news

2026 Hoburne Conference

At the beginning of February, the leadership team attended the 2026 Hoburne Conference where the team came together for an awards ceremony.

The team at Blue Anchor won a range of awards, including Business Award of the Year for Hoburne, Sales Team of the year, 2025 Business of the Year Winner, and 2025 Exceptional Team of the Year (sales). Also, 3 members of our amazing team received awards: 2025 Blue Anchor Owners choice Award - Rebecca Jackson, 2025 Rosing Star Award Blue AnchorLewis Helm ( The Bay), Blue Anchor Maker of the Year - Sean Perkins (The Bay). We are all incredibly proud of the team here for their achievements.

New General Manager

As you are aware, Justin Tress will be leaving Blue Anchor and heading to our sister park, Hoburne Park, to be General Manager. We thank him for all his hard work at Blue Anchor and wish him the best in this new chapter.

Rob Jenkins will be joining Hoburne as the new interim General Manager at Blue Anchor. He looks forward to meeting all of our owners soon!

Owner events

So far this year...

Our Christmas parties went down a storm! We enjoyed a sit-down twocourse meal, and the wine was flowing. The team has said it was their favourite event of the year! We also had a trip to the Exeter Christmas market, which got everyone in the festive spirit.
