Welcome back to Hoburne Bashley. I hope you’ve all had a wonderful off-season and are as ready as we are for the park to come back to life.

There’s always something special about the start of spring here, the fresh energy, familiar faces returning, and the sense of another great season ahead. It’s a real pleasure to see owners back enjoying their holiday homes, and on behalf of the whole team, I’d like to say how much we’ve missed you.

We’re especially looking forward to the months ahead as we prepare for a fantastic season together. Over the winter period, a lot of hard work has been taking place across the park, and we’re excited to continue and complete our refurbishment works to further enhance the experience for everyone. Thank you for your continued support and patience while improvements are carried out. We’re confident the results will be well worth it. Here’s to a brilliant spring and a memorable season at Hoburne Bashley.

Park updates

Mini Refurbishment Update

Following on from Sandra Mueller’s advisory communication regarding the full refurbishment sadly not taking place this winter, we would like to confirm a mini refurbishment is currently underway. This will see Café h and the outside terraced area receiving a similar update to the Lounge Bar, which we hope you have been able to enjoy already.

Farewell to Joanne!

Joanne Edwards, our previous Guest and Owner Experience Manager, has transferred to our sister park, Hoburne Park. Joanne will be covering the maternity leave of their Guest and Owner Experience Manager for the rest of 2026. We will keep you updated on this position and Joanne’s replacement.

Welcome to Leighann

We have a new Sales Manager Leighann Morgan. Leighann started just before Christmas and is making it her mission to say hello to every owner before Easter!

So if you are passing, please pop in to the office and introduce yourself. Leighann has over 30 years experience in hospitality, resort operations and luxury travel. Leighann joins us having worked for Park Holidays UK in Polperro, Cornwall.

Café h will have a fresh new look and we are also investing a significant amount of money into redesigning the external terrace overlooking the outdoor pool. Works have already started and will be completed in time for the Easter holidays.

Welcome to Oli

Team news

Let me introduce you to Oli Coles. Oli started with us as Food & Beverage Manager at Bashley at the start of January. Oli has previously worked as Food & Beverage Operations Manager for Village Hotels in Portsmouth (winning Pub & Grill manager of the year in 2024 & 2025) and as the Bar Manager at the Southampton University Union. In addition to this he also worked at several Mitchells and Butlers pubs across the area.

Owner events

So far this year...

Leighann and Connor hosted the first owners event of the year, a Mexican-themed event held in the Lounge Bar. It was an opportunity to come and meet both members of the Sales Team and talk to them about the latest stock coming to the park this year.
