SMART PULSE
INFRARED THERAPY The natural, non-invasive and painless Infrared light therapy, also known as Low-Level Laser (LLLT) and photobiomodulation, is experienced by us as heat and is the invisible part of the sun’s light spectrum. Infrared light penetrates deep into your body (2-7cm) all the way to the inner layers of your skin, to your muscles, nerves, and bones. Infrared then boosts local blood circulation, which brings more healing nutrients and pain relieving components to the area, while promoting a detoxifying sweat.
SmartPulse is a non-invasive assessment of your cardiovascular system's health utilizing acclaimed pulse wave technology. The SmartPulse is an FDA, TGA and EU approved Class II Medical Device which evaluates arterial occlusion and arterial elasticity and stiffness which are closely related to Cardiovascular Disease. Arterial stiffness and arterial occlusion (blocking) are major cardiovascular risk factors. Free initial scan for Members!

BRIDGEMILL SIXES SERVICE LEAGUE 2019 UPCOMING EVENTS by Molly Maher BridgeMill Sixes Service League (BSSL) met on January 17th for our organizational meeting for 2019. We talked about fundraisers, charities to support and things we accomplished in 2018. About 50 women met at the Terraces for a fun “get to know you” social with a game, food and wine. Does this sound like something you would enjoy? If so, please join us (as our guest) on Thursday March 21st at 7PM. If you want to join, Mary and Sally can help you out with the registration (annual fee $30) and a directory filled with photos of past events and our members contact information. We would love to have you! BSSL President Julie Rosenberg led the January meeting with news of our upcoming service projects and charities that the members have voted to help support. We have some fun mixed in with our fundraising though and the following events are on our spring list: WEDNESDAY, MARCH 13TH is set for our Ladies Day Excursion. We will be touring the Atlanta History Museum followed by lunch at the Swan House. If you have not been to either of these venues, they are an Atlanta tradition! Contact Cheryl Karr for additional information: 404 395 5588 FRIDAY, MARCH 15TH is Bunco Night. This is a fun dice game with groups of 12 rotating around 3 tables and we will all be vying for prizes and bragging rights as winners. The game will be starting out with food and drinks and desserts. The cost is $20 per person and is open to all adults over 18 – you do not need to be a BridgeMill resident or a BSSL member to attend! Bring your friends and neighbors! Rsvp to Susan Gaines at 305 510 5411 or Elaine Casey at 678 447 4632

SATURDAY, MARCH 23RD is our very popular Volley for a Cure. The theme this year is “Rock Star” and will be packed with tennis, food and fun PLUS there will be a Wilson racket demo!! The cost is $20 per player and will benefit the American Cancer Society – NOTE: rain date is 4/13 Please call the Bridgemill Tennis Club to register: 770 720 9635 FRIDAY, APRIL 26TH is the annual Relay for Life sponsored by the American Cancer Society. BSSL will be walking in honor of our friends and family that have been touched by cancer. We will be selling luminary bags for $10. Please contact Nicole at 404 403 5770 or Samantha at 770 975 1609 to sign up to join our team and walk a few laps. FRIDAY, JUNE 7TH will be our 8th annual Golf FORE Charity golf tournament. All funds raised will be donated to charities in Cherokee County! If you have played in this tournament in the past you already know it will be a lot of fun. It is not too early to start thinking about your foursome. More info to follow! Our April article will have additional information regarding our summer events: The MUST summer lunch program and Give a Kid a Chance backpacks. Many of our children in Cherokee County do not get lunch during the summer when school is not in session. Our club meets 4 times during the summer to make and pack lunches to be distributed through MUST ministries. Unfortunately, the funds are sometimes not enough to meet the need. If you would like to make a tax deductible contribution to be used for the Summer Lunch Program, please contact Susan Gaines at 305 510 5411. All money donated will be used only for this event in order to make healthy lunches for these children.
