關於香港舞蹈年獎 About Hong Kong Dance Awards
香港舞蹈年獎由香港舞蹈聯盟在1999年設立，致力於表揚香港舞蹈界的優秀工作及傑出成就，並提升公眾對本地舞蹈工作成就的認知。各獎項於每年的匯演暨頒獎禮中頒發。每年年獎頒獎禮是業界盛事之一，由舞盟製作，康文署贊助場地及部份製作費。自2005年起，舞盟每年邀請一位著名舞蹈家，作為頒獎禮藝術總監。香港舞蹈年獎是為彰顯每年最值得表揚的舞蹈作品及對香港舞蹈發展有貢獻的人士而設，並非以競賽形式選出「最佳」作品。
The Hong Kong Dance Awards were established in 1999 by the Hong Kong Dance Alliance to acknowledge outstanding achievements in Hong Kong Dance industry and raise public awareness of the diversity and excellence of local dance scene. Awards are presented to recipients annually at a Gala Performance and Award Presentation Ceremony.
