ECODESIGN

Long time before the production of a new product line is launched, Nowy Styl analyzed the environmental impact of the production processes and components to be used. We have implemented an ecodesign management system compliant with the ISO 14006:2020 standard (Environmental Management Systems - Guidelines for incorporating ecodesign). Ecodesign provides a holistic approach to products, where environmental aspects are considered at every step of the product life cycle, from product concept to disposal. Our above-average approach to sustainable development has been confirmed by a Platinum EcoVadis medal awarded to the company for its environmental, social and ethical performance. The K40 line is LEVEL certified with the highest level of compliance, i.e. LEVEL 3. European LEVEL is a pan-European certification scheme designed to provide the most open and transparent means of evaluating and communicating the environmental and social impact of furniture products.

SUSTAINABILITY

We are aware that our business has an impact on the environment and we strive to reduce or neutralize this impact for the sake of future generations. We set goals for the company and include them in our Sustainability report. We voluntarily align our operations and strategies with the Global Compact‘s ten widely accepted principles for ethical business.

Our approach to sustainability is also reflected in our product management system. When creating technical drawings, we properly mark all recyclable plastic parts, adding a material designation, recycling code and date to ensure proper sorting and traceability.

Carbon dioxide is the most harmful of greenhouse gases. We strive to reduce emissions, and we are engaged in efforts to ensure more sustainable production and products. We have implemented a CO2 footprint for the Organization (CO2 footprint for the Organization) management system, which complies with the requirements of ISO 14064-1 and the GHG Protocol and is certified by the CO2 Performance Ladder.
