Not only do we want to create cattle that combine all of these traits, we’ve made it even harder for ourselves: we want to create the best of the best in each regard. With every mating decision, we make a genuine effort to create something special. If you’ve raised cattle, you understand that this isn’t easily achieved.
We value data, good feet, do-ability and power. In addition, we place emphasis on look, soundness, maternal traits and low birth weights. We’ve had a melding of the minds which has resulted in the cattle you see on the following pages. Regardless of preferences, we can all agree that cattle that put money in the bank are the best kind.
