What an incredible journey this has been for us and our family. We have created lifelong friendships would be an understatement to say the least in regards to how we feel about our Brangus Family. 12 years ago we purchased our very first Brangus female right here at the Doguet’s sale in Poteet, Texas. 1019R17 was the cow we started L Ray Ranch with and the passion to build an incredible herd grew from there. We have had a tremendous support group along this journey and the experience has been a true blessing for our family. As life has started to pull us in new directions we felt that now would be the best time to offer our herd in a true dispersal manner and it only seemed fitting to go back to the place where it all started for this event. Anyone who has ever attended a cattle sale in Poteet knows that it’s a magical place, where some of the best cattle in the breed, “herd changing cattle”, have walked through the sale ring…this sale will continue that tradition!
