Our passion for innovation has led to the development of category-defining products. From Hiplok ORIGINAL, the world’s first wearable bike lock, to AIRLOK, the first and only Sold Secure rated bike hanger, and Z LOK, the award-winning reusable security tie, our products are designed to solve real-world problems for riders.
DESIGN
Working with advanced materials and manufacturing techniques, we develop products that solve the everyday challenges faced by cyclists. Most recently, we introduced the Hiplok 1000 Series, the world’s first anti-angle grinder security system, using materials never before seen in bicycle and motorcycle security.
SECURITY
We test our locks using real-world attack methods throughout the development process. We work with independent security accreditation organisations, including Sold Secure and ART, to certify the strength of our locks and their resistance to attack.
Launched in 2021 and using advanced materials, the Hiplok D1000 is the world’s first portable D lock able to withstand a severe and sustained angle grinder attack. It set a new standard in security.
Building on the knowledge and feedback gained from the D1000, we have developed the Hiplok 1000 Series with the same proven resistance to motorised attack. Every product is independently certified to the highest security standards.

SECURITY RATINGS
Every new Hiplok lock and security product undergoes a rigorous testing programme to ensure it is fit for purpose. We work with independent security accreditation organisations around the world, including Sold Secure and ART, to certify the strength of our products.
These independent organisations assess products using a range of recognised test methods before awarding a security rating, making it easier to compare products across different brands. Tests include lock picking, manipulation, drilling, cutting, bolt cropper attacks and other common attack techniques.
A Sold Secure rating means a bike lock has undergone independent testing to assess its strength and suitability. Sold Secure certification provides riders with confidence that a product has been tested against recognised attack methods and independently verified.
‘Ultimate’ and ‘Maximum’ security are Hiplok definitions based on the highest available Sold Secure certifications for bicycle and motorcycle locks. No lock or security device can guarantee protection against theft.
