Welcome For the time being, we are going to continue to host our conferences online. I miss welcoming you in person but we really want to keep everyone safe. I think it’s wonderful that despite everything, thousands of us are still able to come together safely, for a few days, to debate policy and have a blether. I hope that you will join us and be part of this hugely important event. Following this, Our 87th Annual National Conference will take place from Friday 26th November – Monday 29th November and will include our Business Day and our annual St Andrew’s Awards. Our events continue to get bigger each and every year, attracting thousands of delegates from all corners of Scotland, as well as organisations, businesses, observers and media from across the UK and further afield. Our mission is to chart a way through the present crisis and onwards to a fairer, more prosperous independent future for our nation. As a party, our commitment and endeavour holds true - we’ll always have Scotland’s best interests at heart. Engagement Opportunities SNP Conference is the perfect opportunity to highlight your organisation’s vision, campaign, policies or product and increase your brand awareness in Scotland. You will have the opportunity to speak face-to-face, through your computer, with a wide variety of people including our parliamentarians, councillors and members. Utilising this opportunity is the most effective way to engage first-hand on the key issues of the day, conveying your message by engaging in debate and discussion. We have worked hard to replicate almost all aspects of our conference online, ensuring that you will continue to be able to take advantage of the many opportunities for brand exposure locally, nationally and internationally. SNP Conference is going to take place on Hopin, an online events platform, where we will continue to deliver the same high energy, engaging conference experience that you have come to expect, straight to your computer screen. Although online conferences are not what we are used to, it does open up new benefits that were never possible before. For example, with no venue capacity limits, fringe events in particular received record turnout levels at our 2020 virtual conference, with the added benefit of having no catering costs. Whether you wish to take a booth in our virtual exhibition hall, host a lively fringe event, showcase your brand through sponsorship, or attend as an observer, there is an opportunity for everyone to be involved.

Exhibition Booking an interactive booth in our virtual exhibition hall is the perfect opportunity to ensure a large presence at our conference, promoting your brand, with little effort on your part, to thousands of attendees. Your exhibition booth can contain pre-recorded or live video, branded content, Website and Twitter links, special offers, a representative on live camera, and a customised call to action button. The exhibition area will be available for attendees throughout conference hours, providing you with the opportunity to arrange scheduled presentations or live sessions. Perhaps even promoting when a VIP from your organisation will be live to draw a crowd at that time. Each booth includes:

Fringe Events Fringe events are the most effective way to convey a message to our conference delegates by engaging in debate and discussion and we are excited to be able to continue to host this valuable aspect of conference. You choose the topic to be discussed, invite the speakers either from within the SNP or externally and host the event as you please. Fringe meetings are held either side of the main stage agenda to maximise attendance. They will take place at the start and end of the conference day and over the lunch break.
Each Fringe event includes: • 1 hour live event • Five complimentary passes for the day of your fringe event to provide access for invited panel members and staff • Complimentary listing in the conference handbook including your logo and a brief description • The maximum number of speakers in a fringe event is 20 for non-recorded and 9 for recorded sessions. • The maximum number of attendees who can watch is adaptive with an average of 500. • Event recording sent to organiser following conference • Assistance to secure an SNP Elected Member for your event • Platform familiarisation session prior to conference Hosting a fringe event in our secure platform is the only way to guarantee SNP representatives. Fringe sessions come in two sizes; large and medium. A larger size can help your session stand out and attract more users. They will be listed in size order after any premier and top listed sessions which will be the most visible throughout conference.

The main stage is the hub for all conference debates. Delegates will naturally congregate here when awaiting policy sessions. Adverts placed here will run on a loop throughout the duration of the conference between main sessions. Business Day Business Day is an event focused on the key issues facing local, national and international businesses, with panel discussion on a range of business themes and Q&A sessions with key ministers and external speakers providing you with the opportunity to meet SNP policy-makers in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. This year, we are offering Business Day online to allow for business stakeholders to attend from all over the country. Observers Observers from a variety of fields are welcome to attend our National Conferences. Businesses, charities, academic and diplomatic visitors alike make the most of our conference experience every year. You will be able to observe live keynote speeches, debates and policy making on the main stage. You can tour our virtual exhibition hall and engage with a variety of stakeholders. You can attend events on the conference fringe and engage first-hand on the key issues of the day with a wide range of organisations. Many of our observers also place an advert in our conference handbook so that our members know that you are in attendance. There are three types or passes: • Standard Passes: For commercial representatives as well as professional associations and trade unions • Concession Passes: For charity and third sector representatives, as well as social enterprises and community groups. • International Guest: For international diplomats and embassy representatives.

Booking Would you like a tailored proposal based on your objectives and budget? If you would like to book multiple engagement opportunities, and particularly if they will be across both of our 2021 conferences, do get in touch as a specific package deal may be available. Please email conference@snp.org outlining which opportunities you would like to book. You will then be sent a booking form which you will need to fill out and return. Please note that all stated rates exclude VAT. Once your booking has been processed, you will be invoiced accordingly. All invoices must be paid in full prior to conference. Engagements which have not been settled will be removed from the event.

The Political Parties, Elections and Referendum Act regulates all aspects of political finance in the UK. The Act is not designed to affect genuine commercial relationships and explicitly excludes the hire of a stand at a party conference and various advertising and branding opportunities. These normal commercial deals are therefore not subject to any regulation under the Act.
