INDEPENDENT, IMPARTIAL & OBJECTIVE

Appraisals & Valuations

Freeman’s Appraisals has provided estate and tax professionals, private collectors, insurance professionals, and institutions with comprehensive art services, including appraisals, valuations, expert witness, damage claims, depositions, and acquisition advice for over a century.

As a result of our reputation, we have had the privilege of working with prominent family offices, estates, and collections from distinguished museums, institutions, corporations, and private individuals across the country.

Appraisal Process

REVIEW

Clients may provide photographs, paperwork, or inventories to review. We will arrange a walkthrough of the property to determine the size and scope of the project.

ESTIMATE

A complimentary quote for the timeframe and cost will be generated for the appraisal assignment. Once approved, an appraisal agreement will be sent for signature.

SCHEDULE

A mutually agreed-upon date will be scheduled for the on-site appraisal to catalog, inspect, and photograph the tangible personal property.

RESEARCH & REPORT CREATION

Our Appraisers will utilize internet auction aggregator sites and subscription service databases, as well as consult with market experts to determine the value of the items. Our administrators will create and customize the appraisal report for the appraisal assignment.

REPORT

A draft appraisal report and invoice will be sent to the client for review. Once approved, a finalized report will be shared.
