3. Barrier Gate DS-TMG510 barrier gate is applicable to entrance and exit management. It is widely used to manage the entering and exiting of vehicles and record vehicle passing time in road toll stations, parking lots, communities, enterprise entrances and exits, etc. It can be controlled automatically via the parking lot management system, or via handles, remote controllers, buttons, etc.

02 SOLUTIONS Hikvision video and audio convergence solution converges the CCTV system, the access control system, the alarm system and the audio system. It solves the pain points of the surveillance that when an alarm is triggered, no action can be taken to drive away threats. Meanwhile, functions like broadcasting, playing audio in schedule are included in this solution to eventually reach the goal to lift the public security level. Typical application scenarios: farm perimeters, industry parks, education areas, metro stations, etc.

Physical protection: electrical fence, etc. High cost, vulnerable. IR beams: hard to install, easy to be effected, passive detection, high false alarm rate. CCTV surveillance system: automatically detects intrusions via intelligent functions such as line
crossing, intrusion detection. In this way, video surveillance and alarm arming are deployed. Compared with traditional physical protection and IR beams, CCTV system can not only detect intrusion, but also can provide live video to operators for double check. The intrusion behaviors can be recorded as evidence. However, even when the CCTV system detects intrusion, no actions can be taken to drive away intruders. Within this period, thefts and criminals happen.
CCTV surveillance workflow When intrusion happens, the video surveillance system automatically triggers alarms and pushes the information to the guard and the owner’s mobile Apps. If the owner does not have guards, he needs to check the alarm on his mobile phone, confirm it and call the police for help.
CCTV surveillance pain points CCTV system can detect intrusion actions, but no immediate actions can be taken. There is huge time delay between intrusion and police actions. In most cases, what they can do is only post-event search. If guards are absent or asleep, the intrusion alarm will be ignored. For those who intrude the area in mistake, there is no way to warn them off but to send guards to the site.
2 Solution DS-PA0103 IP speaker is a waterproof network broadcasting terminal with PoE interface. It is easy to install at places requiring broadcasting, alarm and surveillance. What’s more, it will provide clear audio, and link with Hikvision CCTV, access control and alarm systems.
When alarms happen, the IP speaker can trigger and play pre-defined audio to drive away intruders to provide pre-caution service.

When talking about penguins, we sometimes think of snowy Antarctica. Would you be surprised if we told you that Africa is also home to penguin families? Let’s meet the African penguin, a unique species that has been classified endangered from a population of over a million in the 1920s to only 13,300 breeding pairs left in South Africa and could be extinct in the wild by 2030. Historical factors of guano scraping for agricultural fertilizer destroyed the African penguins’ breeding habitat, leading to predation during the crucial fledgling stage. An estimated 13 million-plus eggs were harvested as a delicacy that caused the initial crash in numbers. In addition, the African penguin also faces issues of predation by gulls/seals/sharks, oiling, marine pollution, and a lack of fish due to overfishing in their crucial hunting grounds.
