The Ad Personam program, in conjunction with Lamborghini Centro Stile, will produce only 99 examples of this model. The Revuelto Miura 60° Homage will have its world premiere at Lamborghini Lounge Monterey during Monterey Car Week. Introduced in 1966, the Miura is often considered the first super sports car in the world. Its most powerful variant produced 385 hp and surpassed a top speed of 180 mph, establishing new standards for high-performance vehicles. Coupled with its groundbreaking design and distinctive styling, these features solidified the Miura's status as one of Lamborghini's most legendary models and a quintessential emblem of 1960s automotive culture. The Revuelto Miura 60° Homage reimagines several design features that contributed to the Miura's status as one of the most significant cars in automotive history. This homage incorporates the Miura's iconic styling elements and integrates them into Lamborghini's flagship High Performance Electric Vehicle (HPEV). New body, new engines, and a new chassis, the ’26 Dodge Charger R/T Four-Door AWD Sixpack is the start of the iconic name’s next chapter. Originally introduced as an EV, the ’26 lineup gives muscle car fans hope these new gas-powered options are what they’ve been waiting for. Starting at 420 hp, the Sixpack R/T features a twin-turbo I6 under the hood dubbed the Hurricane, and boosted to 550 hp in the Scat Pack. Will these latest offerings bring the Dodge Charger back to the top of the muscle car standings, or has the initial EV launch taken the wind out of its turbos? Just hearing the name Dodge Charger... muscle car fans paint a picture of boxy body lines, outlandish colors, and plenty of decals, all wrapped up in front of a very smokey burnout. While our AWD model isn't the first choice when it comes to brake stands and chirping tires, our ’26 Dodge Charger R/T Four-Door AWD Sixpack finished in After Dark (navy blue) with red side decals, sure looks like a modern ’70s muscle car. The length of both a 1970 and 2026 Dodge Charger is almost identical; however, design themes have favored practicality, passenger comfort, and safety regulations over sheer style, and I think these changes can be applied to almost all aspects of the Charger.

Could you imagine telling someone in the ’70s their Charger was going to be electric? It doesn't seem fair to pick on the EV Charger through the eyes of a muscle car fan, especially when the Sixpack R/T and Scat Pack trims are Dodge’s answers to fans who begged for a 400–500+ hp, traditional gas power option in the body of the latest generation. Unfortunately for the power-hungry, motor-personality-derived crew, behind the wheel of the latest Charger, even with the 420 hp under your right foot, the car does not feel like a muscle car. A hard truth is that this ’26 Dodge Charger R/T Four-Door AWD Sixpack is an EV trying to be a muscle car. A chassis shared between an EV and ICE powertrain can only mean one thing: compromise. I’m not going to go as far as to say we are in Ford Mustang Mach-E territory of an automaker losing the plot, but we're

about halfway there. If you are a fan of the previous 392, Hellcat, Daytona, Redeye, etc., this Sixpack is not for you. We know Dodge wants—in fact, needs—customers and fans of the traditional V8 muscle car to get in and love the Sixpack, and hopefully, with further development of the Hurricane platform, the twin-turbo I6 can get to that level of personality. Right now however, the Four-Door AWD Sixpack is two cars trying to be one, and neither are what you’d expect wearing an R/T badge. The 2026 Dodge Charger R/T Four-Door AWD Sixpack is a capable car at the end of the day; however, for those who care, that isn't enough. Dodge took a leap and tried to make the next-generation Charger a modular exercise, thinking customers will gravitate toward a simple “pick your number of doors, drivetrain, and horsepower” approach. However, when it comes to the execution of the different combinations available, those higher-cost options, like drivetrain and horsepower, need to result in a better car and driving experience, yet so far, they have not. Interior quality and creature comforts were all fine and as expected in a $60K+ Stellantis product. Interior trim lighting is nice, and the high-traffic surfaces had a suede/Alcantara feel, but don’t start poking around the surfaces beyond the high touch points; you'll be greeted by hard plastics and creaky noises. Apple CarPlay and the latest infotainment perform exactly as you’d expect—nothing more, nothing less. The “industry standard” interior experience is why the powertrain is so important in a vehicle called the Dodge Charger; take away all the personality under the hood, and you're left with none all together. While offering adequate performance and modern features but lacking the character of previous V8-powered Chargers, the 26 Dodge Charger R/T Four-Door AWD Sixpack aimed to combine practicality with muscle car performance, but the shared EV-based platform makes the car feel like a compromise rather than a true successor. It is a capable vehicle, but it falls short of delivering the driving experience most Charger fans expect. www.dodge.com

Bonhams|The Laguna Seca Auction August 13th written by Bobby C. Warren III Bonhams will offer some of the rarest and most historically significant collector road and race cars at its upcoming Laguna Seca Auction, taking place at the WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca on August 13, with previews scheduled for August 11 and 12.
1993 Jaguar XJ220-N, one of only three produced, with an estimated value of $675,000 to $725,000. This model was developed by Tom Walkinshaw Racing (TWR) specifically for the 1993 Italian Group N GT championship. During the 1993 season, two vehicles, chassis #001 and #002, participated in races, whereas the car being offered, chassis #003, was designated as the backup and did not compete.
The highlight of the Laguna Seca Sale is an exceptionally rare 2024 Bugatti Chiron Super Sport, one of only 80 cars available, with an estimated value ranging from $4,300,000 to $4,800,000. The Bugatti Chiron Super Sport is renowned for its impressive specifications, featuring a 1,600 PS 8.0-Litre quad-turbo W16 engine that accelerates the vehicle from zero to 60 mph in just 2.2 seconds, reaching an electronically capped top speed of 273 mph.
Additionally, there is a Mercedes Benz E60 AMG Limited, one of only two produced, which was manufactured in 1995 by AMG Japan, with an estimated value ranging from $325,000 to $375,000. The Mercedes Benz E60 AMG model started life as the acclaimed Mercedes Benz 500E that was developed in collaboration with Porsche.
The car offered is a unique 'Sur Mesure' commission that presents in Glacier paintwork with Rouge Etoilé accents over an Italian Red and Blanc leather interior. It features the Super Sport's extended "longtail" bodywork, elongating the rear of the car by 25cm for ultra-high-speed stability and a 40% reduction in aerodynamic drag as opposed to the 'standard' Chiron. It also displays front fenders that incorporate nine circular air vents - a stylistic and functional nod to the iconic EB 110 Super Sport.
Also available at Bonhams' Laguna Seca Auction is one of the most legendary Maserati Ghiblis ever sold, previously owned by Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, with an estimated value of $200,000 – 250,000. The 1969 Maserati Ghibli 4.7 Coupé was among Italy's premier luxury GT Tourers of its era, designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro at Ghia. It produced 320hp from its race-inspired, dry-sump V8 engine, enabling the vehicle to reach a maximum speed of 155mph.
This Bugatti Chiron Super Sport is a single owner, US delivered car that shows less than 1,325 original miles. When commissioned, the car was specified with more than $450,000 of additional equipment to create the ultimate high-speed Grand Tourer. This included the Sky View roof ($62,000), Comfort Seats ($12,500) and Super Sport Magnesium wheels ($76,000).
The car in question is the red Maserati Ghibli that once belonged to Hugh Hefner, often photographed parked outside his Playboy Mansion in Holmby Hills, California, during the early 1970s, alongside his custom Mercedes-Benz 600 Pullman limousine. Broad Arrow Presents The Quail Auction August 13-14 written by Bobby C. Warren III On the 13th and 14th of August, Broad Arrow will return to Monterey Car Week to host The Quail Auction, serving as the official auction partner for The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering.
Sportwagen Roadster by Klenk (Estimate: $1,800,000 $2,200,000), the evolutionary link between Porsche No. 1, the America Roadster, and the 356 Speedster. The PorscheSauter was built by Hans Klenk Karosserie, the man who would go on to win the Carrera Panamericana in a 300 SL. Following period competition at the Nürburgring, Monaco, Liège-Rome-Liège rally, Montlhéry, Riverside, and Pebble Beach, the Porsche-Sauter was reacquired by the Porsche factory to develop the 1,500-cc Type 528 Super engine later used in the America Roadster.
Some of the highlights for The Quail Auction include a rare 2020 Lamborghini Sián FKP 37, a highly collectible 1996 Nissan NISMO 400R, an historic 1951 Porsche-Sauter 356 Pre-A Sportwagen Roadster by Klenk, and a matchingnumbers 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing Coupe. A single-owner 2020 Lamborghini Sián FKP 37 (Estimate: $2,500,000 - $3,000,000), a 284-mile, one-of-63 example of the very first Lamborghini equipped with hybrid technology. Powered by a 6.5-liter hybrid V12 producing a combined 808 horsepower, this stunning example is specified in Bianco Asopo and Grigio Liqueo fading with Verde Lampros accents over Nero Cosmus leather and features a host of options and Ad Personam exterior appointments.
A rare 1988 Porsche 959 Komfort (Estimate: $2,650,000 $2,950,000). Only 266 959 Komfort supercars were produced and this German-market example showing just 20,751 kilometers, is one of only 34 to be painted in Graphite Metallic. A 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing Coupe (Estimate: $1,850,000 - $2,200,000), a striking example of one of the most significant sports cars of the post-war era. Presented in Black over Green leather with seldom seen matching plaid cloth seat inserts, the unmistakable car retains its original matching-numbers chassis, body, engine, transmission, steering box, spindles, and rear axle and is eligible for the most exclusive driving and concours events worldwide.
A 1990 Porsche 911 Coupe Reimagined by Singer known as the “Los Angeles Commission” (Estimate: $1,100,000 $1,300,000), a gorgeous example of the now retired Singer Classic Study. Emerging from Singer in 2016, it is powered by an Ed Pink Racing-built 4.0-liter air-cooled flat-six and a six-speed manual transmission with limited-slip differential and finished in Paint to Sample Namib Yellow with subtle Ghosted Light racing side stripes and Bone White lettering over a White leather woven interior with Black leather contrast trim.

This year's anniversary edition continues the event's longstanding tradition of combining automotive preservation with historical storytelling. Organizers have assembled a field representing more than a century of automotive development, with judging based on authenticity, technical merit, elegance, and provenance rather than performance or market value. Approximately 229 vehicles from more than 20 countries are expected to compete across dozens of classes.
As Pebble Beach reaches its 75th edition, the event continues to evolve by introducing new themes and expanding the diversity of its competition field while maintaining the traditions that have defined it since 1950. The event begins with the 1,500-mile Pebble Beach Motoring Classic, August 4 through 13, from Seattle, Washington, to Pebble Beach. And, the Pebble Beach Tour d’Elegance presented by Rolex is a scenic drive for 150-plus Concours participants on Highway One from the 17-Mile Drive to Big Sur and back, August 14, starting at 7 a.m. and concluding at noon.
Ferrari serves as the principal featured marque for 2026, with special emphasis on the competition legacy of Luigi Chinetti and the North American Racing Team (NART). Multiple Ferrari classes will showcase Le Mans-winning race cars, grand touring models, and examples bodied by the coachbuilder Vignale, highlighting the marque's influence on both endurance racing and postwar automotive design.
And, the 19th Pebble Beach RetroAuto and the Pebble Beach Classic Car Forum will be held in Concours Village at Pebble Beach, August 14–16, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Concours Sunday, August 17, 10:30 a.m.–5 p.m.
Several new and returning specialty classes broaden the event's historical scope. Among them are Early American Speedsters, Classic Streamliners, and a dedicated Japanese Motorsports class, the latter marking the first time Japanese competition cars have received their own official concours category. The class traces Japan's rise in international endurance racing through landmark vehicles from manufacturers including Toyota, Nissan, Mazda, and Honda.
On Sunday, judging begins at 8:30 a.m., the field officially opens at 10:30 a.m. and the awards are presented 1:30– 5 p.m. Approximately 200 classic automobiles cars will be judged in 29 classes, in which award-winners will be chosen, culminating with Best of Show. Expect plenty of creativity at The Paddock Monterey 2026, from bold wraps to hand-painted art, will take center stage. Among them is a 1956 Mercedes-Benz 190SL, Celestial Carnival, a one-of-a-kind creation by Arizona artist Bill Dambrova. The owner was inspired by the BMW art cars and other cars like Janis Joplin's famous Porsche and the Mercedes 220 cars painted by Hiro Yamagata. He worked with Dambrova on the concept of "500 million years in the future.” Dambrova spent more than 200 hours transforming the car. It's just one example of the individuality and imagination you'll discover on the field this August.
