Marijuana enhances our mind in a way that enables us to take a different perspective from ‘high up’, to see and evaluate our own lives and the lives of others in a privileged way. Maybe this euphoric and elevating feeling of the ability to step outside the box and to look at life’s patterns from this high perspective is the inspiration behind the slang term “high” itself. OPTIMISM AT AN ALL TIME HIGH IN THE CANADIAN CANNABIS MARKET AS THE SECTOR CONTINUES TO EXPLODE IN TERMS OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES, AN INCREASE IN MANUFACTURERS, THOUSANDS OF ONGOING ENTREPRENEURIAL ENTERPRISES AND NEW EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES ABOUND. CAN IT BE WE ARE ABOUT TO ENTER THE GOLDEN AGE OF CANNABIS IN CANADA? The Canadian cannabis industry has con nued to be a bright spot for cannabis investors and 2017 has already provided investors with strong investment returns. This sub-sector of the cannabis industry has been on fire since July 2016 with the increased interest fueled by the an cipa on that Canada will become the first G-7 na on to legalize recrea onal cannabis. The highest an cipated event of 2017 is the tabling of new legisla on as it relates to a legal recrea onal cannabis program. This development is expected to take place in the spring. During December of 2016, a federal task force released its long-awaited recommenda ons rela ng to the legaliza on of recrea onal marijuana. The report was prepared by a commi ee comprised of nine members who have worked together since June. One of the largest fundamental changes within the Canadian cannabis sector over the last year relates to the amount of capital entering the industry as well as the source of the capital. The capital entering the industry is not only larger but smarter too; these investors and firms are long-term holders who see the bigger picture. Amidst the op mism, Canadian licensed medical cannabis producers have been a g g re s s i v e l y ra i s i n g c a p i t a l t o m a ke acquisi ons and to increase produc on capacity. These companies are raising capital to prepare for an expected increase in demand once the recrea onal cannabis program gets started. Although legal recrea onal cannabis provides companies with a great opportunity, it also presents a significant hurdle. There are currently more than 100,000 medical cannabis pa ents in Canada and these pa ents are
facing a supply shortage. There is simply not enough cannabis to go around. While increasing pa ent numbers combined with increasing product recalls and new regula ons have contributed to this problem, licensed producers con nue to prepare to tackle this issue. One of the greatest opportuni es for cannabis companies is cannabis oils. Highlighted by a higher retail price and higher profit margins, cannabis oils will prove to be one of the most significant revenue streams for licensed cannabis producers over the next decade. The Canadian medical marijuana market is saturated with mid-grade products and Licensed Producers are usually sold out of top quality flower. One of the best solu ons for Licensed Producers when they have too much product is to turn it into cannabis oil. This higher cost product increases the shelf life of medical cannabis and is a rac ve to consumers. In market news, Canopy Growth Corp. (WEED.TO: TSX) (TWMJF: OTC) con nues to be the Canadian medical cannabis leader and most view the company as one of the best long-term cannabis investments. Period. The company recently completely the acquisi on of Me rum Health, which significantly expanded its product line and that led to a surge in revenue. The market did not ini ally respond favorably to Canopy’s earnings report and the shares recorded its largest drop of the year. Canopy has been able to recapture most of its losses and we con nue to remain favorable and monitor trading ac vity closely. WEED.TO recently traded into the $13.20 range. Wow. Canopy Growth con nues to over-perform and this company should be on every cannabis investor’s radar screen.

& THE BENEFITS OF TERPENES The art of healthy living. My name is Colin Bambury - also known as Powerplant. My mission is to spread information about how cannabis can be used as a catalyst for physical performance and success. I hope you’ll enjoy my article and look out for future content in High Canada every month. Every strain and phenotype of cannabis has a different and unique aroma. This versa le plant has a wide variety of smells that range from cheesy oranges to piney gasoline. Now, the science is finally explaining what marijuana enthusiasts have known for decades. The same compounds that create these familiar odors in plants and oils are the catalyst for the essences of cannabis. Terpenes are the aroma c elements of any herb – usually found in the essen al oils. Terpenes are Terpenoids are used interchangeably but have two different meanings. Terpenes are hydrocarbons while Terpenoids have been oxidized (dried and cured buds). This medical term has been used to describe and study the essences of plants (usually conifers and citrus trees) long before it was applied to cannabis. As medical marijuana becomes accepted by academics there are more and more studies being published. Most of the past research has focused on THC and the healing proper es of cannabinoids. These compounds are extremely important and are largely responsible for the therapeu c quali es of cannabis. However, more botanists are beginning to 9

inves gate the medical and recrea onal effects that Terpenes have. Just like each strain has a unique combina on of aroma c compounds, each terpene (and combina on) has unique effects. Smell and taste can have profound influence on humans. The essences themselves can alter our moods and brain chemistry. This realiza on has lead to a field of medicine known as Aromatherapy. This prac ce is defined as using the natural oils extracted from flowers, bark, stems, leaves, roots, or other parts of a plant to enhance psychological and physical well-being. The inhaled aroma from these essen al oils is widely believed to s mulate brain func on. Some businesses and individuals are beginning to use cannabis-derived Terpenes in aromatherapy prac ces. This proves that regardless of the medical benefits – Terpenes (taste and smell) can change the way a user experiences cannabis. A pa ent that enjoys the taste of their medicine may find that it can help calm their stomach or gastrointes nal issues. Similarly, the

simple smell of a strain may induce energe c feelings of euphoria. Terpenes are extracted in a clear liquid and are usually sold in small glass vials. They can be consumed orally and are some mes combined with cannabinoid nctures. The aroma c liquid can also be added to smokeable extracts like sha er and wax. Smoking Terpenes provides a controllable flavor profile with addi onal medicinal and recrea onal effects. Terpenes begin to vaporize at around the same temperature as THC (157 degrees Celsius) – so they can be consumed using vaporizers as well. Each Terpene has unique medicinal benefits and quali es. Cannabis connoisseurs can CANNABIS BUSINESS & CULTURE

make predic ons about a strain’s mental and physical effects based on the smell profile. Terpenes act on receptors and neurotransmi ers and can act as serotonin uptake inhibitors. The best way to describe the medical benefits of Terpenes is by examining a popular example – Limonene. Limonene is a very popular Terpene that is highly abundant in famous strains such as Super Lemon Haze and Lemon Skunk. Limonene is found in citrus fruits and not only gives the fruits it’s dis nc ve flavor and smell, but also the ability of citrusy oils to act as natural disinfectants. Limonene is An Bacterial, An -Fungal, and has An -Cancer proper es. These benefits are transferred to the cannabis user when they orally ingest, smoke, or vaporize Terpenes. With all of this informa on, it is logical to conclude that Terpenes may be the most medically valuable aspect of cannabis. As governments and scien sts con nue research on Terpenes, we will be able to reap the full benefits of these essen al oils. Terpenes are star ng to be used for natural cleaning and health products because they have no proven nega ve side effects. Breeders and growers are able to cul vate specific aromas in their strains and help medical pa ents target their symptoms with accuracy. Licensed Producers and cannabis companies will begin crea ng more products with Terpene infusions. This is one step in changing the s gma and story around cannabis. Terpenes will allow consumers to have a more customized experience when inges ng the Powerplant. These essen al oils have both medical and recrea onal value. Most importantly, we need scien sts to con nue studying Terpenes and all of their poten al benefits.

Carbon Farming: AgTech is our Future What is required is to capture the CO2 - from the air? Governments are "talking" about this issue and ins tu ng carbon taxes. They've been talking for decades now... with few results. It is not a logical solu on, to simply reduce exis ng emissions.... the carbon needs to be reclaimed from the atmosphere. I've reviewed several of the technology projects proposed to capture carbon. They do not appear to be large enough to make a difference. There is ONE approach that would work. AGRICULTURE: the growing of C3 crops that absorb more carbon as CO2 levels rise. Most of the crops we grow are 'modern' C4 plants. Cannabis is an ancient species that captures CO2 at a significant rate. As levels rise, the plants get bigger. Simple, really. AgTech is the only real solu on on the horizon. Turning those crops into homes, products and eco-materials captures the carbon directly. Permanently. For the life of the home or product created, the carbon is taken out of the air. Hempcrete buildings would use hundreds of tons of hemp material. Each ton of hempcrete captures 1.6 tons of CO2. A micro-cellulose process, Zeoform, has been developed that does exactly the same thing. This simple technology turns hemp crops into cellulose for

Circular economy at work. This is the me of the Perfect Storm for cannabis. Across the spectrum, people are calling for legaliza on. From medical cannabis to "recrea onal" to industrial uses – the ancient species is emerging into the mainstream. Now, medical users are looking to industrial strains for the higher CBD levels found in farm crops across the na on. The irony is that breeding low THC varie es for "industrial" uses is perfect

for many medical uses. Industrial hemp is a crop every farmer worldwide can grow profitably. Star ng this year. I call this "carbon farming". From the small 10 acre farm up to thousands of acres in the Prairies, cannabis produces seed, fibre, cellulose and leaf material; tons per acre. A "triple bo om line" as the saying goes. Taken to a logical conclusion, the concept of carbon farming could absorb ALL the CO2 we emit globally. Taken to 85 million hectares, CO2 levels would begin to drop. Year a er year. Closing the Loop. Solving the third part of the equa on. In crea ng solu ons within the industrial cannabis (hemp) sector, the cri cal equa on depends on separa ng the fibre from the core. One tough job – the fibre is strong and bonded to the stalk with lignum – same stuff trees use to stand tall in the forests. This key step, separa on (decor ca on), determines every other industrial applica on that follows. As cannabis is coming to the forefront once again, four new machine designs that improve the separa on (decor ca on) process have been developed. Each of these efficiently separates the fibre from the core: generally a 30% fibre - 70% core ra o. Using the fibre for tex les is pre y straigh orward. The core hurd produced; not as well developed in the marketplace. Machines to use the fibre part of hemp are well developed. These produce a wide range of products: insula on, geo ma ng, yarn, rope, tex les, building materials and some composites. Commercial applica ons to use the core hurd 'waste' have been typically been animal bedding, hempcrete or absorp on products. Some work has been done on chip-board and par cle board panel manufacturing. Previously we've men oned a new process, Zeoform, that uses the core cellulose from hemp stalk. An eco-material that can replace a wide variety of wood, plas c, fibreglass or composites on a local, scaleable-level.
Zeoform can be produced locally without
chemicals, using just plain water. This creates real opportunity and value. This closes the industrial hemp loop perfectly. It solves the Gordian Knot of the sector. Industrial hemp can now produce maximum value at the farm level and beyond. Extending to dual-purpose crops that are grown for seed and fibre, use of the core hurd increases the value of each acre. Fibre and core markets would increase farm revenues by a wide
In a previous ar cle, the Coming Age of Abundance, we talked about technology, new materials, systems and designs coming into focus that are transforming our civiliza on. New technologies coming into the market are making an impact that is accelera ng. These range in size and capacity, but will aect everyone on our planet. As prohibi on collapses, new technology for hemp processing and innova ons coming into the market will make it possible to use renewable, sustainable agriculture in a sustainable fashion. Capturing carbon with every product we manufacture is a key to a circular economy. We stand at the verge of a wholesale change in our global civiliza on. Progress in the cannabis supply chain is essen al: industry requires a steady source of supply and producers require a steady stream of consumers who want a clean, green planet. This will drive the cannabis industry forward into the coming Age of margin. This creates an excellent circular economy beginning at

Aurora Cannabis Inc. is building an 800,000 square foot greenhouse for marijuana growing and processing called Aurora Sky. The company is se ng their sights on becoming the largest producer in Canada, if not the world, with an es mated 100,000 kg of marijuana per year, which amounts to approximately 1.1 Billion dollars of GDP. What does this mean for you? Well, if you’re in the Edmonton area and looking for work, there are going to be over 2000 new jobs, and if the people at Aurora are to be believed, their low-cost produc on method will mean a lower per gram price for you at the end of the day. But this is all – pardon the pun – blowing smoke at this point, because this is all in the infancy stage. Aurora is the third biggest medicinal marijuana produc on company behind Canopy

Growth Corp. and Aphria Inc., but their ambi ous plans with Aurora Sky, if successful, would certainly put them on top by a huge margin. I say if because there are some that ques on whether Aurora’s rela vely young management team lacks the experience to pull off such a huge venture. But if you follow the news on this, it looks to me like Aurora is making friends with all the right people, including Radient Inc., whose state-of-the-art cannabis extrac on process has revolu onized the cannabis industry. Earlier this year, the two companies entered into a joint venture to develop the

most efficient cannabis produc on and extrac on process to be implemented in their Aurora Sky project. Even the geographical loca on of the Aurora Sky facility is an inspired choice. It’s set right in the heart of Leduc County, with easy access to power, water, transporta on, not to men on its proximity to the airport, which means customs clearance and the future possibility of export. In a me when Canada’s economy (and really, most of the Western world) is struggling to deal with the effects of globaliza on – produc on moved overseas, the automobile industry crash, the steel industry gu ed – this kind of huge produc on is inspiring and encouraging. So what’s the downside, you ask, and well you should. I’ve just spent four paragraphs praising a leviathan company for its mass produc on plans. Well, there’s definitely a trade off coming. Small growers won’t be able to compete with a company that can produce 100,000 kg a year. I’m not always an -big business, but I’m not foolish enough to ignore history, either. Big businesses tend to put the li le guy out of work. Just try to go find a coffee shop that isn’t Tim Hortons or Starbucks if you don’t believe me. Me, I may just have to look into growing my own, because if Aurora Cannabis Inc. achieves its goals with Aurora Sky, then for them, the sky really is the limit. They will become a marijuana empire, their name synonymous with Bell or Microso or Apple. No one’s using the word monopoly, of course, but let’s not kid ourselves. Every big business has the same goal – to be the only game in town.

PRE FLOWERING
By this stage you have made it past the cloning stage and have a bunch of li le new plants as well as the donor plants they came from. You can now decide to flower the donor plants out knowing they are backed up in cu ngs, or you may decide to flower all the cu ngs at once in a sea of green style. For the interests of the 101 series we are s cking to basics here so let’s decide to flower all the clones in an 8’x4’ area. You can purchase many brands of professional collapsible growing tents off the internet or at stores. You can buy some 4ml black and white poly wrap from ANY hydroponics store and find a backroom of your house or living space and construct your own.

This will give you a basic knowledge of what to tweak with, perhaps you’ll need a bigger exhaust or intake fan. Now is the me to figure that all out. For the purpose of educa ng the newer growers out there, we are s cking to the most basic knowledge that can be used on a wide variety of applica ons and methods. For the 101 series we will flower all our clones. This lets the mothers recoup and produce many more cu ngs, while the clones are flowering. (Hint topping or pinching the growing nodes on the top terminal branches will force your mother plant to grow into a bush. (Fig#1) A 3’ compressed bail of soilless mix will generally do 12 plants in 5 gallon pots, For the Sea of Green, or S.O.G, method we will use 3 gallon black plas c pots available at any hydroponics or gardening store. This amount of medium will do 16 -18 plants in 3 gallon plas c pots and that will fill your tent when they are almost finished. The Omuerta method should give you a 3 foot terminal bud if done correctly under the S.O.G method. You will plant your clones into their final homes in a moistened soil in each pot. I usually fill a pot 2/3 with wet loose soilless mix and then drop in the rooted clone and fill in the rest with more soil. Now you will line up your clones under the lights, I suggest about 2 feet away and progressively lower the lights if using High Intensity Discharge ligh ng to 18” inches over the canopy a er about 10 days at 20 hrs of light a day. Over this me you will be feeding it the maximum grow food dose to benefit from the nitrogen content (or the first number on the NPK ra o of whatever food you plan to use*). *Note on foods, from chemicals to organics, there are many compe tors out there pu ng fancy names and pictures on chelated chemical mixes... beware of what you’re buying and knowledgeable about the products. During pre flower we will line our pots up by strain and number in uniform lines. This is so when we find our selected phenotypes, we can go back and flower out the rest of the donor plants and dedicate the space the one chosen plant for future genera ons, we can now repot her into a 5-7 gallon pot and keep her healthy and growing with no problems with space considera on. Keep pinching her branches as they grow out every few nodes and you will have a happy healthy mother that will produce more clones

Your garden of clones by day 10 should be growing quick and uniform and reaching out to fill the spaces in between the pots with fan leaves to claim the space and gather more light energy for t h e m s e l v e s . The exhaust keeps the heat down and I open the doors of the tent during the hours the lights are on to add fresh airflow on top of a 6” intake fan. At this stage your plants should look like this. TOMMY CHONG IN ALBERTA! Tommy Chong is from Edmonton - Thats right - Chong was born at the University of Alberta Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta, on May 24, 1938. As he is back in Edmonton for Hempfest we thought it would be a good opportunity to highlight some of our favorite Tommy Chong moments over the years. It was history in the making when this Albertan musician and comedian teamed up with Cheech Marin. It was during this period that Chong went on to co-write and perform on many Cheech & Chong comedy albums, two of which were nominated for Best Comedy Album Grammy Awards. Chong also directed four of the duo's films, while co-wri ng and starring in all seven with Cheech Marin. The stoner-comedy duo-supreme met in Vancouver, Bri sh Columbia in the late 1960s. Chong was a Canadian ci zen, and Cheech had moved there from Southern California to avoid the dra at the height of the Vietnam War. The pair performed stand-up shows together, released many successful comedy record albums, and starred in a series of films. Some of their best-known comedy rou nes and songs include "Earache My Eye", "Basketball Jones", "Santa Claus and His Old Lady", and "Sister Mary Elephant". Perhaps their most famous line is "Dave's not here", from their self- tled debut album. Both went on to successful careers of their own - taking me to reunite from me to me to remind audiences that Dave is s ll not here.
SOME THINGS YOU MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT TOMMY CHONG Tommy Chong was in a Disney animated film called Zootopia, where he voiced a yak named Yax. Chong was also one of the celebri es who par cipated on the 19th season of the much acclaimed Dancing with the Stars. He paired with professional dancer Peta Murgatroyd. His old friend Cheech Marin appeared in Tommy Chong's first dance in the season opener and fans were delighted. Despite being at the bo om of the leaderboard numerous mes, Chong and Murgatroyd were able to make it to the night of the semi-finals but were eliminated at the end of that night. Chong is the oldest contestant to have made it to the semi-finals of the show.
Tommy Chong has just turned 78 and for most of his life he has taken on the mantle of passionate and vocal cannabis advocate speaking recently at the Interna onal Cannabis Business Conference in Vancouver in 2016 and returning to Edmonton in 2017 to pick up where he le off. His interna onal brand Chong’s Choice is considered among the best new cannabis companies out there. A far cry from a me where cannabis had to be talked about in whispers. Tommy has always been a loud voice for the advocacy movement, working relessly over his career to des gma ze the use of this healing plant. Now that society has moved in a more posi ve direc on regarding the medicinal and recrea onal use of cannabis, Tommy’s voice con nues to ring out loudly, tou ng its benefits and place in society. His message has never changed, and his passion has remained as strong as it was on stage many years ago. Now Tommy is thrilled to share that passion and knowledge of cannabis with the rest of the world. Using his lifelong connec ons in the industry, he has made it his personal mission to share the very best product available with his fans and fellow herb connoisseurs. If anyone knows weed, its Tommy. And now fans of comedy and cannabis alike can experience the strains and products that Tommy himself has hand selected. According to Tommy - there really is only one choice, Chong’s Choice.
Chong has also appeared with his long- me comedy partner in a South Park episode called "Cherokee Hair Tampons", where they played fic onal versions of themselves.
Perhaps one of our own personal favorites would be 2013's Cheech & Chong's Animated Movie by Branden Chambers and Eric D. Chambers. It stars the comedy duo Cheech and Chong in their first feature film since 1984's The Corsican Brothers, and is the first to feature them as animated characters. We are talking Grade A funny here.
The movie features a wraparound story of a genital crab named Buster the Body Crab trying to get high from Tommy Chong's weed scented head. This movie has become a cult classic and a valued part of many a Sunday session.

So now you take what you have learned from these experiences, along with the s gma and you help others? Yes, by drawing heavily on my own personal experience, and the anecdotal stories of my clients, I am now able to guide others through the process of ge ng their medicine. I also help them to discover the best coping strategies for their par cular needs. This I do by providing informa on and crea ng opportuni es for pa ents to connect with others who may be facing similar challenges. And how has this changed your perspec ve on things? My strong belief is that educa on is crucial and most people are keen to learn more about this highly s gma zed topic. So, I’ve harnessed the collec ve knowledge in my network and created a series of panel discussions and seminars to address the many beneďŹ ts and poten al drawbacks of medical cannabis. My goal
is to be of service to massive numbers of people, by helping others gain legal access to medical marijuana, and at the same me, help people overcome the s gma. And by the way, I am no stranger to s gma! What do you mean by that? Well, I men oned that my dad was a doctor and in 1988, he died of AIDS. At that me, and because of the nature of his illness, very few people would come near us. Most were terrified of the possibility of contrac ng AIDS themselves. We couldn’t get nursing care (or doctors) to come to the house. My siblings and I were thrust into the role of pallia ve caregivers and had to learn how to administer blood transfusions, give morphine injec ons and change diapers. I had two small babies at the me so my sisters and brothers really took the brunt of it. Fortunately, one of my sisters (a nurse) organized us all to cover the shi s of 24/7 care for our dad. Due to the s gma of his illness, he was not allowed to enter a hospital (even the one that he served as Chief of Staff). My mother had no choice but to keep him at home, the home that my siblings and I grew up in. I remember doing the night shi mostly so my siblings could get some rest. Our grandmother (also a nurse) was alive at the me and she helped us tremendously just by cooking and feeding us. Our dad died about a year and a half a er he was diagnosed. My Mother had difficulty finding a funeral home that would accept his body! Can you imagine? No I could not imagine! Wow that is pre y harsh experience, especially for a mother of two to go through! Yes. It was a trauma c experience for all, shortly a er that, we did pallia ve care for our grandmother as well. Then our
mother was diagnosed with bone cancer. Once again, my siblings and I found ourselves taking shi s of round-the-clock care, sleeping on hospital floors, ea ng take-out sandwiches and monitoring vital signs. So, this is the short story, the Readers Digest version, which translates into the fact that my siblings and I did several years of ongoing pallia ve care. Is that why you have P.T.S.D.? That certainly was the start of it. During those years of watching my parents die while raising my children, I became highly anxious and that is when I first started having nightmares and flashbacks. However, I have lived through other, more trauma c events that happened since then. That is when I was formally given a diagnosis of P.T.S.D. Every me I’ve had to tell that chapter of my life, it further injures me. I get physically ill and feel red and depressed for days a er. So, I choose not to say any more about that for now. Believe it or not, I do feel a sense of privilege to have all this “life experience”. I’ve also tried an assortment of pharmaceu cals to treat my anxiety and depression and could not tolerate any medica on whatsoever! For me, the side effects were horrible, even in small doses. Since I began using medical cannabis, for the first me in 20 years, no more nightmares,
no more flashbacks and the cannabis oil has taken the edge off my anxiety. I have felt tremendous relief from my symptoms.
So how do you educate others? Mostly, it’s one on one and then I direct people to my educa onal forums. For example, last January, I organized a pa ent focused panel discussion called “Medical

As I look around from where I type I can see, An E-nail, 3 rigs, 2 bongs, papers, filters, lighters, grinders, Medtainers, infusions, topicals, lip balms, books, clothing, magnets, s ckers, posters, tote bags… If there was one brand in this house that stood out more than anything it would be weed. Before we had this influx of cannabis companies, weed was branding herself like the queen she is. Perhaps that’s what we really want from these emerging brands. To not stray too far from what this plant herself stands for.

The mes they are changing. We keep hearing that Bill Blair is saying he wants to talk to Canadians about pot and he is making his way across Canada doing just that. The Canadian Department of Jus ce sent out a press release recently announcing that Toronto’s former top cop and current cannabis czar had started a cross-country tour to discuss legaliza on and regula on. Blair is mee ng with “Canadians and various stakeholders on the government’s commitment to legalizing, strictly regula ng and restric ng access to cannabis.” “I look forward to mee ng with Canadians from across the country to hear their perspec ves on regula ng access to legal cannabis,” said Blair in a recent press release. “We know that the current system of prohibi on through the criminal jus ce system is not protec ng the health and safety of Canadians, especially our young people. PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20) Your ability to encourage others to take small risks from time to time emerges. A partner might seem stressed out and as if he or she needs to clear up a problem. Understanding evolves between you and this person. Be open to the possibilities. Keep it fun and light. ARIES (March 21-April 19) You could be slowing down some after a recent surge of activity. You finally might be able to iron out a problem that appears in your daily life and is dragging you down. Your ability to relate to others is high, but your drive to relate might be low.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) Someone can be quite whimsical in his or her word choice and description of what he or she needs. Answer to a loved one, and question what needs to happen. Much of what you discuss at present is best kept hushhush. Take a break from your routine. SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) You could be feeling more together than you have as of late. You also are less likely to make a scene about how to approach a difficult misunderstanding. Your ability to relax and grow soars right now. Share more of your ideas with others. Let the fun begin. SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21) How you handle an intense situation in the morning could determine the nature of the rest of the day. You might feel empowered if you handle the first issue well. As a result, you can breeze through your plans bypassing any hassles. Go where the crowds can be found. CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19) While others might not be able to deal with all the responsibilities of everyday life, you can. Your need to communicate emerges, and you’ll feel much better once you have cleared your mind. Approach a friend who lives at a distance with care. In the limelight. AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) Keep reaching out to a dear friend. This person keeps tossing new information into the mix. You might not know which way to go. Lady Luck is on your shoulder, so trust that you will make a good choice, especially after you have a conversation. Let the good times roll.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20) You could be less sure of yourself yet more childlike than you have been in quite a while. Reach out to a loved one in a welcoming way. This person might feel more caring and upbeat than he or she has in a long time. Take advantage of the moment. Nurture a romance. GEMINI (May 21-June 20) Be willing to call a spade a spade. Someone close to you might be testing you. You are likely to feel scrutinized. Loosen up and make plans that please you as well. Don’t feel as if you must always honour someone else’s constraints. CANCER (June 21-July 22) You’ll hit extremes and might be left wondering whether you can stabilize your moods and emotions. You are a sign that is ruled by the Moon, and you will feel the effects of today’s full moon. You are up and down. Use care with spending. LEO (July 23-Aug. 22) Remain more sensitive to your options. You could feel as if everyone is pushing you very hard to get his or her way. You need to be more concerned about a loved one. You will see a difference in how this person behaves. Curb a need to be possessive. VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) You could be feeling your Wheaties and might be enjoying yourself to the max. How you handle a personal situation depends on what time someone approaches you, or vice versa. The later, the better. A conversation needs to be authentic. Allow others to see the real you.
