Why did you make the move from emergency care to aesthetics and facial rejuvenation? It was never my intent to completely leave emergency medicine, but to cut back significantly. I had spent a great part of my then 10-year career in ER. The burn-out rate for ER providers is about 18 years. Doing the math, I knew I had to find balance. I didn’t want to be that piano player in the winter of her career playing to an empty amphitheater. Aesthetics are my passion. What do you like most about your work? People. I believe that with every encounter you have with others, you learn something about yourself. My first encounter with patients was in labor and delivery as a tech in the Air Force. My major role was labor coach. I quickly realized how fortunate I was that these ladies and their families entrusted this beautiful experience to me and my colleagues. I took great pride in winning that trust. I placed myself in their shoes and was successful. Now that I have my own business, I can

What brought you to Infiniti Aesthetics? If you had told me a year ago that I’d be doing what I’m doing now, I would never have believed it. However, a series of life’s disappointments had me questioning where I was in life as I was nearing my 50th birthday. I realized that I had been counting on others for my happiness – boyfriends, bosses, family, friends. I think that it was that realization and letting go of the need to seek out the perfect job, the perfect husband and perfect friends, that things began turning me in the direction I’m heading. People and opportunities kept appearing in my life and it just all made sense. I had the clinical skills to have my own practice, and most importantly, if I put forth the effort towards my own dreams that I did towards those of others, I could be a whole lot more content. I was always that person that responded with “why not become one” when I heard a little girl say she wanted to marry a doctor when she grew up. I’d somehow gotten stuck. Since then, I’ve just kept my eyes open to the blessings around me and surrounded myself with people who believe in boosting each other up instead of putting each other down. I’m in a better place than I’ve ever been.

It’s when you try to turn yourself into something you’re not that you end up in the tabloids. And finally, know when to stop!

This test takes less than five minutes to conduct and is essential to receiving the promised efficiency from your new system. A static pressure test defines the amount of resistance in your duct work, similar to a doctor checking your blood pressure. If you ask for the static pressure readings and the salesman or technician cannot provide this information, beware!
