Furry Friends September 28-29 @ Kitsap County Fairgrounds The Peninsula Dog Fanciers’ Club Performance Weekend is a twoday event held at the end of September at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds in Bremerton, Washington. Events include three Scent Work Trials, three Rally Trials, and three Obedience Trials, two Farm Dog Certification tests, two days of Canine Good Citizen and Trick Dog Evaluations. There are enough events for multiple titles this weekend! No need to pack a lunch, we will have Food and Coffee Vendors available! Day parking is $5 per day. There are no entrance fees for spectators at the show. Lions and Tigers and Bears, Oh My! Visit the Olympic Game Farm to see this and more! 9-5 daily, 9-6 on Saturdays

Furry Friends

Kickin’ It With K9s Orientation 9/3, 9/21, 10/1, 10/19 Kitsap Humane Society is inviting community members to take dogs on field trips to the park, to the beach, and other dog-friendly destinations in Kitsap – even sleepovers at your home! – to give them a break from the stress of shelter life. All that is required to get started is a quick, 20-minute orientation. Then you can be on your way with your shelter dog, some simple instructions, and a special doggie backpack filled with supplies! Daytime field trips are scheduled seven days a week, except during shelter open hours, when dogs need to be in their kennels to meet potential adopters.

Orientations will be held on the first Tuesday and third Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m. Learn more by checking out the Kickin’ It With K9s page!
