How are you doing this year? We hope that toy building and treat baking are going well up there in the North Pole! We are very grateful Santa, for all the goodies you have brought to us homeless dogs over the years! Grandma and the volunteers are always telling us what good dogs we are and every year you find lots of toys and treats in your bag for us. Many of the dogs who come to live with us have never had such delicious treats or wonderful toys, and some of us have seen more than one Christmas come and go at the Rescue.
Thank you very much, Santa, for reading our letter again this year. We sure hope you can bring us each a treat for Christmas. Of course, two would be great, but one each for all the adoptable and sanctuary dogs at HHGDR would be wonderful! We promise to have Grandma and the volunteers scoop our play yard, so it’s safe when you step out of your sleigh! We wish you, Mrs. Claus, and all the elves a very Happy Holiday!
Hugs, Slobbers, and love from all the VERY GOOD dogs at HHGDR (Please see page 2 for TREAT lists!)
You brought us so much last year that we think there are other homeless dogs who could use our share of toys instead of us this year. But we would love an extra treat or two during the day. Treats are also good for training and rewards after grooming. We know you have a generous heart, Santa, so our paws are crossed, and we are hoping that we will find some of the items on our Christmas wish lists. Remember, Santa, your elves don’t have to wrap anything. It’s better for the planet! Santa, as you know we are orphans, and realistic enough to know that some of us may never find our forever home. We are always thankful for anything you bring us. As Grandma says, it is not polite to beg or be greedy. We have heard volunteers talking about sending money or gift cards to their grandchildren because they are not sure what to buy them and we have learned to shop on the internet, so if it’s easier …we love to shop on the internet!!
