Happy June to all and we just wanted to wish all of our fathers Happy Father’s day. Thanks for all you do. We had a busy May with Anthem Cart path repairs, tree trimming around the amenities and replacing the Original Celebration Gate Key pad. Please see your below June Property Updates and Reminders:
Pet Reminder: As a reminder, please clean up after your pets and keep them on leashes at all times in Del Webb Naples. Please make sure not allow them to go on other’s properties as well.
Coffee with CAM: Don’t miss our Coffee with CAM on June 10th with the Collier County Sheriff’s office. They will be discussing Trespassing, Fishing, Security and what they do to prepare before and after a hurricane. Please click here to register on the online calendar. We hope to see you there.
Irrigation Update: While we just entered into the rainy season, we continue to navigate the irrigation and pressure issues shared to us by some of our homeowners. We are aware of these concerns and working with AMUC and Juniper as this has been experienced throughout Ave Maria.
If there is a broken irrigation line or head, please report it to Juniper by emailing dwncustomercare@juniperlandscaping.com or call 239-326-6774, but if it is a pressure related issue please know we are working to address it. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Speeding & Safe Driving: Please remember to obey all speed limits in Del Webb Naples and be mindful of fellow Neighbors when driving your golf cart or cars. Please never walk on the golf course cart paths, as this is never permitted for safety purposes. Please note: You are able to walk on the anthem cart paths as bikes pedestrians and golf carts can go on those.
Behavior Towards Guests & Fellow Neighbors: Please remember never to confront Guests, or anyone you think doesn’t belong in Del Webb Naples. Always be respectful and polite and let us know if you see someone you don’t think belongs so we can check. We never want any confrontation or harm. Please always have your Guests registered with us and wearing wristbands.
Amenity Center Decorum: Please always remember to be polite and respectful of fellow Neighbors and Guests when using the amenity centers and to wear appropriate clothing while using the Fitness Center, Oasis Club, and Grand Hall. Please remember there is a 30 minute limit on cardio equipment and lap pool if others are waiting to use them. Please never use vulgar language at one another.
Crime Prevention Reminder: The Sheriff’s Office would like to remind us to report any suspicious activity or persons and to keep our doors locked and valuables out of sight. Working together and practicing crime prevention strategies can help keep our community safe and is the best way to prevent crime. Please dial 911 in an emergency. The Collier County Sheriff’s Office can be reached at (239) 252-9300.

If You See Something, Say Something: Please let us know if you ever see any safety concerns we should address as soon as possible. No one spends more time in this community than you, and we greatly appreciate you letting us know.
Trash & Recycling Reminder: Please keep in mind that trash and recycling still need to be out by 6:00 am, or the county cannot guarantee pickup. Homeowners are permitted to take their trash and recycling containers out the night before for those who can’t do it the morning of. Please do not take the containers out the night before, IF AT ALL POSSIBLE, to help prevent bears and other wild animals from becoming accustomed to Del Webb Naples.
We don’t want anyone hurt, so we kindly ask for your cooperation. Please click here to view the county’s brochure on trash and recycling. As a reminder, pickup days are Mondays for trash recycling and bulk and Thursdays for trash. The only days there will not be pickup are the Fourth of July, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Please bundle landscaping materials according to the county guidelines so they can be picked up. If you want these materials picked up for a charge, please contact Juniper at customercare@juniperlandscaping.com .
Alligator Safety Notice: If you ever see an alligator that you think is a nuisance, please call our office at (239) 455-2001, and we will ask our local licensed alligator trapper to come and evaluate the situation.
We want to remind you that feeding alligators is illegal and will only make them more dangerous to you and your fellow Residents! Anyone feeding gators is putting everyone at risk. Please report it to our offices if you witness anyone feeding them. We don’t want anyone getting hurt and want to remind you never to feed or harass alligators and never feed other wildlife. You can be arrested for feeding and harassing alligators. As a reminder, fishing in the community is also prohibited.
Please keep a safe distance from alligators and do not go near the water’s edge, walk your pets near it, or allow them to go near it. Additionally, it is not uncommon for alligators to travel from pond to pond, so you must always be aware of your surroundings regardless
of where you are in the community. We are blessed to live in the beautiful southwest Florida community, and we can enjoy all of our wildlife in safe ways.
Please keep garages closed during the day, as alligators, snakes, or other wildlife can enter them. For more tips and information on living with alligators, please click here , here and here .
Golf Cart, Vehicle and Pedestrian Safety Reminder: As the community grows we want to make sure everyone is aware of our golf cart policies. Please remember all golf carts need to be registered with us and the Master Association and need to list Pulte, Hampton Golf and Del Webb Naples Community Association as additionally insured with limits of at least $300,000 for our records and must be renewed annually. Additionally, Ave Maria Stewardship District, Ave Maria Master Association, Ave Maria Development LLP and Ave Maria University must be additionally insured as shown on page 7 in the Ave Maria Stewardship District Golf Cart handbook. Please remember to stop at all stop signs in the community and obey all rules of the road including not to speed as we have had some reports of speeding lately. Remember all streets in Del Webb Naples gates are 25ph and 35 mph on Anthem. Parking lots and coming into the Oasis Club is 15mph. As a reminder do not walk on the golf course cart path as this is not permitted and is dangerous. The golf course cart paths are just for the golfers.
Additionally, please remember it is not permitted to park golf carts next to the tennis, pickleball courts or other amenities on the sidewalks as it can be a safety concern and could cause pedestrians to walk off the road onto incoming traffic and we don’t want anyone getting hurt.
Temporary Salon Closure: Please note the salon will temporarily be closed starting Monday, June 1st and will be reopen for appointments on Wednesday, June 10th.
The Salon Team will be out of the office on vacation during that time.

June is here! Let’s take a look back at all the great memories and events we enjoyed throughout May. From the Kentucky Derby to the Memorial Day Pool Party & BBQ, our community stayed lively and connected all month long.

MAY 2 – KENTUCKY DERBY:
What a spectacular day at our Kentucky Derby celebration! Over 200 residents gathered for an afternoon filled with excitement, friendly betting, and lively games— all capturing the true spirit of Derby Day. A heartfelt thank you goes out to our incredible hosts, Sara and Doug Callahan, whose dedication and enthusiasm brought this event to life. Guests were treated to delicious homemade bourbon slush and classic mint juleps, lovingly prepared by Mr. and Mrs. Callahan, adding an authentic and refreshing touch to the festivities. From cheering on favorites to enjoying great company, the energy throughout the event was unforgettable. We’d also like to extend a big shout out to all our amazing volunteers who helped run the games and keep the fun going strong.
MAY 4 – PIZZA AND A MOVIE:
Join us for one of our favorite monthly traditions— Pizza & Movie Night, happening the first Monday of every month! Residents gather for a relaxing evening filled with great food, good company, and a featured film everyone can enjoy. Guests are treated to delicious pizza from L’Appetito, along with soft drinks, candy, and fresh popcorn to complete the movie-going experience.
Whether you’re coming for the food, the film, or the fun, it’s the perfect way to kick off the month. We look forward to seeing you there!
MAY 7 – HAND KNITTED THROW:
Residents gathered for a warm and welcoming workshop led by our Lifestyle Director, where creativity and comfort came together! During this hands-on class, participants learned step-by-step how to create their very own hand-knit throw blankets, no needles or tools required. With plenty of laughs, a little learning, and lots of cozy yarn, everyone enjoyed bringing their blankets to life one loop at a time. By the end of the workshop, residents left not only with beautiful handmade creations, but also a new skill to keep the creativity going at home.
MAY 9 – GOLD AND SILVER ROADSHOW:
Our recent Gold & Silver Roadshow with David Kaz was a shining success! Residents had the opportunity to schedule one-on-one appointments to have their unwanted gold and silver professionally appraised and even walk away with money in hand. From old jewelry to forgotten treasures, it was exciting to see what everyone brought in. David Kaz provided expert evaluations, making the process easy, informative, and rewarding for all who participated.
MAY 11 – CCSO SELF DEFENSE CLASS:
Residents gathered at our Grand Hall for an empowering Women’s Only Self-Defense Class hosted by the Collier County Sheriff’s Office. This engaging and informative session provided practical techniques, awareness strategies, and confidence-building skills designed to help participants stay safe in everyday situations. Led by experienced instructors, attendees learned hands-on methods for personal protection in a supportive and encouraging environment. We extend our sincere gratitude to the Collier County Sheriff’s Office for sharing their time, expertise, and commitment to community safety. Thank you to all who attended for making this event both impactful and empowering!
MAY 12 – BLOOD DRIVE:
Our quarterly blood drive once again brought our community together to help save lives. Residents stepped up in a big way, donating blood and making a meaningful impact for those in need.
We extend our deepest appreciation to all who participated. Your generosity and willingness to give truly make a difference, as each donation has the power to help multiple patients. It’s a powerful reminder of how small acts of kindness can create life-changing outcomes.
MAY 15 – PAINTING WITH A TWIST:
Residents enjoyed a relaxing and creative evening at our Painting with a Twist event, led by our very own talented resident instructor, Terry Porter! Under her guidance, participants brought a beautiful summery hibiscus flower to life on canvas. To make the experience even more enjoyable, Del Webb provided complimentary wine and snacks for all attendees, adding the perfect touch of refreshment to a colorful day. A big thank you to Terry Porter for sharing his artistic talent with the community, and to everyone who joined in to create such a vibrant and memorable event!
MAY 20 – KNIFE SHARPENING EVENT:
Our quarterly Knife Sharpening Event with Kitchen Kutz was once again a great success! Residents had the opportunity to bring in knives of all shapes and sizes to be professionally cleaned, sanitized, and expertly sharpened. From well-loved chef’s knives to specialty kitchen tools, each item was carefully restored to peak performance, making meal prep safer, smoother, and more enjoyable. Residents appreciated the convenience of having their kitchen essentials refreshed right here in the community. A big thank you to the team at Kitchen Kutz for their skill and care, and to all residents who participated in keeping their kitchens sharp and ready for action!
MAY 20 – FUN BINGO NIGHT:
What a lively evening we had at our resident-hosted Bingo Night, led by the fantastic duo Colleen and Paul Desmarais! Residents gathered for an exciting night that started with traditional bingo and quickly turned into a high-energy game of Crazy Bingo. As the numbers were called, the competition heated up with unexpected twists, fun challenges, and plenty of surprises that made each round even more entertaining. Whether seasoned bingo pros or first-time players, everyone had a blast joining in the action.
A huge thank you to Colleen and Paul Desmarais for hosting such a creative and engaging evening, and to all who participated for bringing such great energy to the room.
Our community gathered for a moving and meaningful Memorial Ceremony hosted by the Del Webb Naples Veterans Club. This cherished annual tradition brings residents together to honor, remember, and pay tribute to the brave men and women who have served our country. Through heartfelt reflections, moments of silence, and shared remembrance, the ceremony served as a powerful reminder of the sacrifices made by our veterans and their families. The Veterans Club once again led this important event with great dignity and respect, helping ensure that their legacy is never forgotten. We extend our deepest gratitude to the Club for hosting this special ceremony each year, and to all who attended in honor of our nation’s heroes.
POOL PARTY & BBQ:
What a fantastic way to honor Memorial Day! Residents gathered poolside for a day filled with sunshine, laughter, and community spirit as we came together to celebrate and remember.
The afternoon was brought to life with incredible live music from Paul Desmarais, setting the perfect upbeat soundtrack for a relaxing holiday. Guests also enjoyed fun and festive games hosted by the always-engaging Colleen Desmarais, keeping the energy high and the smiles constant throughout the day. No celebration is complete without great food. The Rusty Putter fired up the grill and served up mouthwatering hamburgers and hot dogs with all the fixins’.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for this special day of remembrance, fun, and togetherness. It was truly a wonderful way to kick off the summer season!
