MESSAGE FROM THE HOA
DEAR DEL WEBB NAPLES RESIDENTS,
Happy July to all and we just wanted to wish all a Happy 4th of July and Happy 250th birthday to the United States! We hope to see you all at our 4th of July pool party (click here) with local legend Tom Diflorio! We had a busy June with the completion of the Oasis Club repairs and are very pleased everything is back to normal. Thanks so much for your patience with the process. Alligator Safety Notice: If you ever see an alligator that you think is a nuisance, please call our office at (239) 455-2001, and we will ask our local licensed alligator trapper to come and evaluate the situation.
We want to remind you that feeding alligators is illegal and will only make them more dangerous to you and your fellow Residents! Anyone feeding gators is putting everyone at risk. Please report it to our offices if you witness anyone feeding them. We don’t want anyone getting hurt and want to remind you never to feed or harass alligators and never feed other wildlife. You can be arrested for feeding and harassing alligators. As a reminder, fishing in the community is also prohibited.
Please keep a safe distance from alligators and do not go near the water’s edge, walk your pets near it, or allow them to go near it. Additionally, it is not uncommon for alligators to travel from pond to pond, so you must always be aware of your surroundings regardless of where you are in the community. We are blessed to live in the beautiful southwest Florida community, and we can enjoy all of our wildlife in safe ways.
Please keep garages closed during the day, as alligators, snakes, or other wildlife can enter them. For more tips and information on living with alligators, please click here , here and here .
Speeding & Safe Driving: Please remember to obey all speed limits in Del Webb Naples and be mindful of fellow Neighbors when driving your golf cart or cars. Please never walk on the golf course cart paths, as this is never permitted for safety purposes. Please note: You are able to walk on the anthem cart paths as bikes pedestrians and golf carts can go on those.
Behavior Towards Guests & Fellow Neighbors: Please remember never to confront Guests, or anyone you think doesn’t belong in Del Webb Naples. Always be respectful and polite and let us know if you see someone you don’t think belongs so we can check. We never want any confrontation or harm. Please always have your Guests registered with us and wearing wristbands.
Pet Reminder: As a reminder, please clean up after your pets and keep them on leashes at all times in Del Webb Naples. Please make sure not allow them to go on other’s properties as well.
Amenity Center Decorum: Please always remember to be polite and respectful of fellow Neighbors and Guests when using the amenity centers and to wear appropriate clothing while using the Fitness Center, Oasis Club, and Grand Hall. Please remember there is a 30 minute limit on cardio equipment and lap pool if others are waiting to use them. Please never use vulgar language at one another. The pool will be closed for repairs during the week of July 6 - 10.
Crime Prevention Reminder: The Sheriff’s Office would like to remind us to report any suspicious activity or persons and to keep our doors locked and valuables out of sight. Working together and practicing crime prevention strategies can help keep our community safe and is the best way to prevent crime. Please dial 911 in an emergency. The Collier County Sheriff’s Office can be reached at (239) 252-9300.

If You See Something, Say Something: Please let us know if you ever see any safety concerns we should address as soon as possible. No one spends more time in this community than you, and we greatly appreciate you letting us know.
Trash & Recycling Reminder: Please keep in mind that trash and recycling still need to be out by 6:00 am, or the county cannot guarantee pickup. Homeowners are permitted to take their trash and recycling containers out the night before for those who can’t do it the morning of. Please do not take the containers out the night before, IF AT ALL POSSIBLE, to help prevent bears and other wild animals from becoming accustomed to Del Webb Naples.
We don’t want anyone hurt, so we kindly ask for your cooperation. Please click here to view the county’s brochure on trash and recycling. As a reminder, pickup days are Mondays for trash recycling and bulk and Thursdays for trash. The only days there will not be pickup are the Fourth of July, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

July is here! Let’s take a look back at all the great memories and events we enjoyed throughout June. From Pizza & a Movie to Music Bingo, our community stayed lively and connected all month long.
Here’s a quick recap of the highlights—get ready to smile and maybe get inspired to join in next time!
JUNE 1 – PIZZA AND A MOVIE:
We kicked off the month of June with one of our favorite monthly traditions, Pizza & a Movie night. Residents gathered in the Grand Hall to enjoy delicious pizza from L’Appetito while relaxing with a great family-friendly film and wonderful company.
Pizza & a Movie takes place on the first Monday of every month, so mark your calendars and join us for the next showing. We look forward to seeing you there for another slice of fun!
JUNE 4 – CANDLE MAKING:
Our Candle Making Workshop was a wonderful success, bringing residents together for an afternoon of creativity and fun! Participants had the opportunity to design their own custom candles by choosing from a variety of delightful scents, vibrant colors, dried flowers, and decorative mini molds to create a truly unique masterpiece. From elegant floral designs to colorful and whimsical creations, each candle reflected the creativity and personality of its maker. The room was filled with laughter, conversation, and plenty of inspiration as residents enjoyed crafting something beautiful to take home.
JUNE 10 – COFFEE WITH CAM:
Thank you to all the residents who attended our recent Coffee with CAM event. We were pleased to welcome representatives from the Collier County Sheriff’s Office, who joined us to discuss ongoing concerns regarding trespassing and community safety. Events like these offer an important opportunity to ask questions, share concerns, and stay informed about matters that affect our community.
We appreciate everyone who took the time to attend and participate in the conversation. The safety and well-being of our residents remain a top priority, and we will continue working alongside local law enforcement and community partners to help maintain a safe and welcoming place for all.
A special thank you to Del Webb Naples for providing delicious Dunkin’ Donuts coffee and donuts.
JUNE 13 – COMEDY NIGHT:
Laughter filled the Grand Hall during our recent Comedy Night, where more than 215 residents gathered for an evening of fun and entertainment. The night got off to a fantastic start with opening act Lou Angel Wolf, who had the audience laughing from the very beginning with his quick wit and relatable Florida jokes.
The laughs continued with our headliner, Alan Schubowsky, whose relatable humor, engaging storytelling, and comedic timing made for a memorable performance that had residents laughing.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for this wonderful event. It was great to see such an incredible turnout and so many residents enjoying a night of laughter, friendship, and community.
JUNE 16 – CHARCUTERIE EVENT:
Our recent Charcuterie Workshop in partnership with Juniper Landscaping was a delicious and engaging success! We hosted two classes of 20 residents each, giving participants a hands-on opportunity to learn the art of creating beautiful and wellbalanced charcuterie boards. Kaitlyn from Board and Brie led an educational and interactive workshop, guiding residents through the essentials of board building. Residents left feeling confident and inspired, equipped with new skills to recreate stunning charcuterie boards at home for gatherings, celebrations, or everyday enjoyment.
A huge thank you goes out to our incredible residents for their generosity and support through donations. Together, we collected over 100 boxes of cereal for children in need, making a meaningful impact in our broader community. Your kindness and willingness to give truly reflect the heart of Del Webb Naples.
JUNE 17 – WATERCOLOR CLASS:
Our monthly watercolor class, led by talented resident Linda Bachofner, continues to be a creative outlet for our community! Held on the 3rd Wednesday of each month, this hands-on class provides residents with a relaxing and inspiring opportunity to explore their artistic side. This month’s session featured a step-by-step guided painting titled “Lemons and Grapes”.
Under Linda’s patient and encouraging instruction, participants of all skill levels created beautiful, finished pieces they were proud to take home. The class continues to be a wonderful way to unwind, connect with neighbors, and enjoy the calming benefits of watercolor painting.
JUNE 20 – SUR LA TABLE FRENCH ELEGANCE COOKING NIGHT:
The Sur La Table French Elegance Cooking Night was a truly memorable culinary experience filled with flavor, learning, and a touch of Parisian charm! Residents gathered for an interactive evening where they explored the techniques and presentation styles behind classic French-inspired cuisine.
Guided through each step of the menu, participants enjoyed a hands-on cooking experience that highlighted elegant preparation methods, beautiful plating, and rich, delicious flavors. From start to finish, the evening was filled with laughter, conversation, and the joy of creating something special together.
Best of all, attendees got to enjoy the delicious meal they prepared, making the experience even more rewarding and meaningful.
JUNE 24 – TASTE OF NAPLES:
Our recent Taste of Naples outing was a wonderful evening of dining, friendship, and community! A large group of residents gathered at Ocean Prime in Downtown Naples to enjoy their Early Bird Specials menu and share a delicious dinner together in a beautiful setting. The evening was filled with great conversation, laughter, and the simple joy of gathering with friends over an exceptional meal.
Our Taste of Naples event will continue throughout the summer on the last Wednesday of each month, offering more opportunities to explore local dining and enjoy time together in Downtown Naples.
Thank you to everyone who came for a fantastic evening—we look forward to many more memorable dinners ahead!
JUNE 26 – MUSIC BINGO:
Our recent Music Bingo Night was an energetic and entertaining evening filled with great music, friendly competition, and plenty of laughter!
A special thank you to our amazing hosts, Tom and Carol DiFlorio, who brought energy and enthusiasm to the evening. They kept the event flowing smoothly and made sure everyone was having a great time from start to finish.
A big congratulations goes out to our lucky winners, who took home gift cards to shops and businesses all around Ave Maria!
JUNE 29 – PAINTING WITH A TWIST:
Creativity was in full bloom at our recent Painting with a Twist event led by resident artist, Terry Porter! Terry guided participants through an informative and enjoyable stepby-step class as residents created beautiful palm tree masterpieces set against colorful sky backgrounds.
No two paintings were alike, as everyone added their own personal touches and customized their artwork to reflect their unique style and creativity. From vibrant sunsets to tropical color palettes, the talent in the room was truly impressive!
Residents also enjoyed wine and snacks provided by the club, making for a relaxing and social afternoon filled with creativity, conversation, and fun.
