MESSAGE FROM THE HOA
HAPPY FEBRUARY DEL WEBB NAPLES RESIDENTS,
I hope 2026 has started off grand and we have had a very busy month around the club! Below are your February Property Updates and Reminders:
Community Fluid Spill and Plymouth Gate Update: Please see the below update after meeting with the County:
Prosperity, Nobility, Gala and East Harmony to the cul de sac streets will be milled and overlayed in full. Revelry will be partially paved and re-evaulated at a later date. We will let you know a date for these when we have them.
Champion, Triumph, Prestige, Achievement and Legendary streets will continue receiving cleaning treatment.
Please know the Plymouth gate will be open for the next several weeks as the gate hinges are being repaired.
Lake Bank Work: Please know lake bank repairs will begin in early February on Plymouth, Declaration, Constitution and Legendary North. There will be other smaller lake sections repaired in other sections of the communities completed as well.
If you see something, say something: Please let us know if you ever see a safety concern we can address. No one spends more time in this community than you do, and we want everyone to be as safe as possible. Please never confront someone you don’t think belongs in Del Webb Naples, but please let us know instead.
Pets: Please remember to clean up after your pets and keep them on leashes at all times in Del Webb Naples.
Driveway Pavers: Please Note: In Article V Maintenance Section 3 of our Declaration it states “...Del Webb Naples Owner Of Parcels fronting on any roadway within Del Webb Naples shall maintain driveways serving their respective Parcels...”
Please inspect your own driveway pavers as soon as possible and arrange for any of them to be fixed that are needed as soon as possible as we don’t want any trip hazards for you and your neighbor. Thank you for getting these fixed and helping keep the community safe.
Amenity Center Decorum: Please always remember to be polite and respectful of fellow Neighbors and guests when using the amenity centers and to always wear appropriate clothing while using the Fitness Center, Oasis Club and Grand Hall. Please always put furniture back where it belongs and clean up after yourself if you have a private event.
Alligator Safety Notice: If you ever see an alligator that you think is a nuisance, please call our office at (239) 455-2001 , and we will ask our local licensed alligator trapper to come and evaluate the situation.
We want to remind you that feeding alligators is illegal and will only make them more dangerous to you and your fellow Residents! Anyone feeding gators is putting everyone at risk. Please report it to our offices if you witness anyone feeding them. We don’t want anyone getting hurt and want to remind you never to feed or harass alligators and never feed other wildlife. You can be arrested for feeding and harassing alligators. As a reminder, fishing in the community is also prohibited.
Please keep a safe distance from alligators and do not go near the water’s edge, walk your pets near it, or allow them to go near it. Additionally, it is not uncommon for alligators to travel from pond to pond, so you must always be aware of your surroundings regardless of where you are in the community. We are blessed to live in the beautiful southwest Florida community, and we can enjoy all of our wildlife in safe ways.
Please keep garages closed during the day, as alligators, snakes, or other wildlife can enter them. For more tips and information on living with alligators, please click here , here and here .
Trash & Recycling Reminder: Please keep in mind that trash and recycling still need to be out by 6:00 am, or the county cannot guarantee pickup. Homeowners are permitted to take their trash and recycling containers out the night before for those who can’t do it the morning of. Please do not take the containers out the night before, IF AT ALL POSSIBLE, to help prevent bears and other wild animals from becoming accustomed to Del Webb Naples.
We don’t want anyone hurt, so we kindly ask for your cooperation. Please click here to view the county’s brochure on trash and recycling. As a reminder, pickup days are Mondays for trash recycling and bulk and Thursdays for trash. The only days there will not be pickup are the Fourth of July, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
Please bundle landscaping materials according to the county guidelines so they can be picked up. If you want these materials picked up for a charge, please contact Juniper at customercare@juniperlandscaping.com .
Adductor/Abductor Machine: Please pardon the delay on the adductor/abductor machine. It is scheduled to be here within the next 2 weeks. It was on backorder from the manufacturer. Thank you for your patience with this.
Turf issues for Winter and Spring of 2026: Please know the HOA is suspending sod replacement until the seasonal drought has ended, the chance for freezing temperatures ends and rains become consistent. We expect to resume at the beginning of our rainy season. Each year, in the Spring, we face the challenge of our seasonal drought when the
combination of rising temperatures and low rainfall totals will strain the lake levels and stress the landscape. This year, we are approaching that seasonal drought with the lake levels already severely depleted, and we expect water restrictions to be in place soon. New turf requires consistent, daily watering for up to 30 days after installation, and we do not expect to have the resources to provide that level of watering. All sod requests will be placed on a spreadsheet until the drought ends, and then tickets will be created for measurement and installation. We appreciate your patience and understanding during this process as we protect your investment while we address the consequences of this near record-breaking shortage of water.
Upcoming Cold Weather Forecast: According to the latest forecast for Naples and Ave Maria, Florida, temperatures are expected to remain well below normal Sunday night into Monday. Current data from the National Weather Service shows daytime highs only in the mid-50s to upper 50s Sunday and Monday, with overnight lows likely dropping into the very low 30s — and potentially nearing or briefly below the 30°F mark in some pockets, creating conditions favorable for frost development early next week.
Although forecasts have been updated daily, this arctic air mass is expected to bring the coldest temperatures experienced in the region this season, which can create ground and air frost — a known stressor for turf and ornamental plants. Irrigation will be turned off as needed.
Impact on Mowing & Trimming Operations:
Mowing: With predicted cold and frost, turfgrass and plant growth will be significantly slowed and can be become discolored and damaged. Mowing in these temperatures can stress grass and increase the risk of turf damage. For the safety of the turf, Routine mowing next week will be suspended until the week of February 9 until temperatures moderate and plant growth resumes the following week.
Trimming: Similarly, trimming shrubs and ornamentals during frost conditions may cause additional cold damage at cut sites. Dur to this, Trimming operations will be paused until the week of February 9 when temperatures are forecast to rise into the 60s and 70s, reducing frost risk.
Golf Cart & Bicycle Safety:
• Golf carts are not permitted on Anthem Parkway under any circumstances.
• You must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 15 years old to operate a golf cart.
• Please slow down for pedestrians to a walking speed when approaching Residents from either direction on a golf cart or bicycle, and let them know you are coming. Provide plenty of room to pass by, gently tapping the horn or ringing the bell, so the pedestrian has time to react and is not startled, thereby preventing an accident.
• Please stop at all stop signs, as the other driver might not see you, and we do not want anyone to get hurt.
• Electric golf carts should not exceed 20 MPH on cart paths.
• While golfing, walking, jogging, cycling, or partaking in other recreational activities, please be aware of the designated golf cart paths and multi-use paths. The golf course and cart paths are for registered Members and Guests playing a round of golf only. Please use the Del Webb community sidewalks or designated multi-use paths for non-motorized activities. Using the golf cart paths, the golf course, or multi-use paths for any action other than their intended use adds an unexpected safety risk.
Traffic Safety:
• Obey all traffic laws, stop at stop signs, and yield to fellow drivers at the roundabouts throughout the community. Be especially careful at the Oasis roundabout by the front entrance, watch for pedestrians, take it slow and make sure you are going the right direction when using it. Click here for more information on driving in roundabouts: Frequently Asked Questions
• Please watch for pedestrians and let them know you are coming along cart paths and other roads. Please remember to obey all speed limits in the community.
• If you are traveling on a bike or golf cart or walking at night, wearing reflective clothing and turning on lights is a good idea so that others can see you. Keeping coach lights on at night can also improve visibility on the streets.
Crime Prevention Reminder: Working together and practicing crime prevention strategies can help keep our Community safe and is the best way to prevent crime. Please dial 911 in an emergency. The Collier County Sheriff’s Office can be reached at (239) 252-9300 . Below are two flyers that will serve as a great reminder with useful information to help keep Del Webb Naples safe.
