On behalf of the Tournament Committee at Northland Country Club, you are cordially invited to play in the 2026 Ev Stuart Member-Member, to be held on June 6th and June 7th, 2026!
Inside this booklet you will find pertinent information about the tournament and registration process. With its unique format, this event is quickly becoming a Northland tradition! About Ev Stuart
Ev Stuart was born in 1918 in Lowell, Massachusetts. After spending his early years as an Assistant Professional in his home state, he became the Head Professional at Northland in 1954. In total he spent 34 years at the club, retiring in 1987. 31 of those years were spent in the log cabin that still stands in the woods just west of the NCC parking lot. To this date, Ev is still the longest tenured professional Northland has ever seen.
Ev was also a fantastic player. While at Northland, he played in 5 PGA Championships, 2 US Opens, and was named Minnesota Section Golf Professional of the Year in both 1967 and 1987.
In 1996 he was inducted into the Minnesota PGA Hall of Fame. Although he passed in 2010, his memory still lives on at Northland through the many members who knew, learned, and worked with him.

Registration
Entry Fee
The entry fee is $175 + tax per person, which includes golf, Sunday food, tee gift, and prizes.
Registration
Northland Members will be able to register through ForeTees beginning at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, March 4th. Registration will remain open until May 23rd or the field is full.
Field Size
The Field will be made up of 60 two-person teams.
Withdrawal Deadline
The last day to withdraw from the event without penalty is Monday, June 1st. Players withdrawing after this date are subject to forfeiture of their entry fee.
Waitlist
After the field fills, interested teams are able to register for a waitlist via ForeTees. In the event of a withdrawal, the Northland Professional Staff will reach out to the first team on the waitlist, who will then have 48 hours to confirm or decline their entry.

Handicaps
We will use each player’s 12-month low handicap index for the event.
Format
36 Holes of Net Stableford Scoring
Double Bogey or Worse: 0 points - Bogey: 1 point - Par: 2 pointsBirdie: 4 points - Eagle or Better: 6 points
First Round
Front Nine: Best Ball (85% of individual handicaps)
Back Nine: Select Drive Alternate Shot (40% of combined handicaps)
Final Round
Front Nine: Scramble (35% of Low Player + 15% of High Player)
Back Nine: Aggregate Score (100% of individual handicaps)
