Discover the best of Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast on this Premium Superior small-ship cruise aboard the MV Paradis. Explore the beautiful islands of Brač, Korčula, Hvar and Šolta, as well as the Biokovo Mountains and Mljet National Park, all in the company of expert local leaders on exclusive guided walks. Day 2: Walking in Biokovo Nature Park   After breakfast, we’ll sail to Makarska, a picturesque port town beneath the impressive Biokovo Mountains – the second-highest range in Croatia. We start with a drive to the Skywalk view point for breathtaking views before embarking on 2 short walks to the Church of St. Jure and Vošac Peak. Return to Makarska for the evening.

7-night itinerary Day 1: Arrival – Brač Island

Makarska

Arrive at Split airport and join your transfer to UNESCO-listed Trogir. Board MV Paradis, where you’ll be greeted by your captain and crew. Meet fellow guests and enjoy lunch on board before we set sail for Brač. Take a guided walk around Supetar, the island’s capital, before a special welcome drink and dinner.

Day 3: Exploring Mljet National Park Relax on board this morning as we sail to the island of Mljet, including a swim stop along the way. Arrive in the coastal village of Pomena and explore Mljet National Park on a guided walk. Highlights include the saltwater lakes and a climb to Montokuc Peak (235m) for spectacular views. Enjoy a Captain’s Dinner this evening. Overnight in Pomena.

Day 4: Korčula Island – Hum Hill & Vela Špilja

Day 6: Bol

Cruise to Vela Luka on Korčula. Walk up Hum Hill (376m) for sweeping views of the bay and nearby islands before descending to Vela Špilja, an important archaeological site which shows evidence of human activity dating back to the Neolithic period. After free time to explore, we’ll return to the port for the night.

Enjoy a morning walking tour from Stari Grad to Purkin Kuk, an ancient, fortified settlement with megalithic walls. Later, we sail to Bol on the island of Brač. Explore the town and take a scenic walk to the world-famous Zlatni Rat beach, a giant sandbar that juts out into the Adriatic. After dinner, there’s time to further explore the town at your own pace.

Day 5: Hvar

Day 7: Bol – Šolta & Split

Sail to Hvar Town and visit Španjola Fortress, a medieval castle built on an ancient Illyrian site. Afterwards, we continue to Stari Grad with a swim stop along the way. Enjoy an afternoon at leisure in Stari Grad, famed for its lavender fields.

Departing Bol, we’ll cruise to Šolta, stopping at Stomorska for a walk up to Gornje Selo, for Dalmatian Coast views. Afterwards, we’ll sail back to Trogir to spend our final afternoon exploring Split’s historic Old Town and the 3rd-century Diocletian’s Palace – one of the world’s most remarkable Roman structures. Final night in historic Trogir.

Cruise to Mljet National Park for a relaxed walk through fragrant pine forest and beside the island’s saltwater lakes. Take a boat to St Mary Isle to visit its 12th-century Benedictine monastery. Follow gravel paths and wooden boardwalks, with time to appreciate the peaceful lakeside scenery before returning to the ship for the evening.

Day 4: Lastovo Nature Park

Day 6: Pelješac Peninsula

Walk from Mihovil Bay through historic Lastovo town and shaded woodland before climbing Mount Hum (415m) for sweeping Adriatic views. Descend to the sheltered natural harbour of Jurjeva Luka, where the ship awaits and we gather for the Captain’s Dinner.

Cruise to Trstenik on the Pelješac Peninsula and walk along vineyard tracks and quiet country lanes towards Pijavičino. Stop for a wine tasting and light snack before returning to the ship, with time to enjoy the relaxed village atmosphere after dinner.

Day 5: Walking on Korčula

Day 7: Srđ Hill and Dubrovnik

Arrive at Vela Luka on the island of Korčula and follow inland trails to Hum Hill (377 m), enjoying views across the Adriatic. Descend through peaceful woodland before spending the remainder of the afternoon exploring the town at your own pace.

Sail towards Dubrovnik before climbing through woodland to Srđ Hill for panoramic views over the Old Town and Adriatic coast. Descend by cable car and return to Gruž harbour by bus, then celebrate our holiday together with a farewell dinner aboard. Arrive in Honningsvåg and enjoy a guided walk along the Storfjellet Trail for views across Magerøya’s coastline and Arctic tundra. Look out for birdlife and reindeer before sailing onwards to Mehamn past Slettnes Lighthouse.

Day 12: Trondheim and Kristiansund

Explore Trondheim independently, perhaps visiting Nidaros Cathedral, Gamle Bybro or Kristiansten Fortress. Later, discover Kristiansund’s maritime heritage, cobbled streets and harbour, or climb to the former watchtower at Varden for views across the coast.

Look out for Arctic birdlife near Vadsø before arriving in Kirkenes. Walk through Prestøya Nature Reserve with a local guide, then sail to Vardø, where you can visit the Witches’ Monument or historic Vardøhus Fortress.

Day 13: Departure day

Day 9: Hammerfest to the Arctic Coast

Sail past Nordfjord, Florø and Stabben Lighthouse before crossing the mouth of Sognefjord. Return to Bergen and transfer to the airport for your flight home.

Cancelling your booking

Your cancellation will be effective from the date we receive your notice.

A European Travel Information & Authorisation System When the European Union announce the specific date for the start of ETIAS, you’ll need to apply online for ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorisation System), a quick and simple travel authorisation, similar to the US ESTA. It will cost 20 Euro and be valid for three years. There’s no fee for over 70s, but you will still need to apply.

If someone cancels from a group booking, it may affect the price for those still travelling.

Cancellation charges apply and are based on the full holiday cost. These charges apply to both individual and group bookings. See our website for details.

Your financial protection

If you or someone in your group needs to cancel, please let us know by calling us on 020 3974 8865 or email cancellations@hfholidays.co.uk.

If we ever need to cancel your holiday, you’ll have the option to: • Choose an alternative holiday (we’ll refund the difference if it’s cheaper), or • Cancel and receive a full refund We won’t cancel your holiday after the balance due date unless it’s due to unforeseen circumstances, non-payment, or if the minimum number of guests hasn’t been reached.

Flight-inclusive holidays All flights include hold baggage and return airport transfers to and from your hotels. While most flights depart from London airports, we also offer a selection of holidays from Manchester, Birmingham and other regional airports. Prices may vary, please see details on individual holiday pages in this brochure and on our website.

We provide full financial protection for our package holidays which don’t include flights, by way of a bond held by ABTOT (The Association of Bonded Travel Organisers Trust Limited), membership number 5008, 69 Leadenhall Street, London, EC3A 2BG, 020 7065 5311, membership@abtot.com. ABTOT provides financial protection under The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 for HF Holidays Ltd, and in the event of our insolvency, protection is provided for non-flight packages. ABTOT cover provides for a refund in the event you have not yet travelled or repatriation if transportation was included in your package. Please note that bookings made outside the UK are only protected by ABTOT when purchased directly with HF Holidays Ltd, company number IP05713R

Filming and photography Occasionally, we may take photos or film for promotional use. If filming is planned, we’ll let you know in advance. We’ll make sure it doesn’t affect your holiday — and if you’d prefer not to be involved, just avoid the filming areas.

Travel Insurance Travel insurance is not provided by HF Holidays. HF Holidays strongly recommends that all customers obtain comprehensive travel insurance to cover medical expenses, cancellations, delays, personal property, rescue, repatriation, all altitudes included within your itinerary and all programmed activities you take part in during your holiday, or other risks that travel insurance is designed to protect against. It is a condition of booking that all customers resident in the United Kingdom obtain comprehensive travel insurance for all overseas holidays booked with HF Holidays. It is also a condition of booking that all customers resident outside the United Kingdom (who are not UK citizens) obtain comprehensive travel insurance for all HF Holidays arrangements, whether taking place in the UK or overseas. Customers who choose to travel without adequate insurance do so entirely at their own risk. HF Holidays shall not be liable for costs or losses arising from circumstances that would ordinarily be covered by appropriate travel insurance. We may require you to provide proof of adequate insurance cover either before or during your holiday.

Changes to travelling to Europe from the UK A new entry & exit system (EES) In 2025, a new Entry/Exit System (EES) replaced passport stamping when entering the EU. You’ll be asked to provide a photo and fingerprints at a kiosk. You don’t need to apply for anything before you travel. These changes are designed to make travel safer and more efficient but may lead to delays at the border as the new system is phased in.
