HERITAGE Welcome Thank you for purchasing this genuine Jaguar CDROM, which contains an electronic copy of the original publication literature and information archive from the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust. This CDROM and the software which runs from it has been designed to run standalone and therefore will not permanently install any software on your PC, but add only a small reference to your system registry that enables the program to locate the document files on the CDROM. How to Navigate this CD The menu system on the left-hand side of the screen, which can be activated and deactivated by clicking on the ‘Bookmark’ tab, contains a series of links. • • • •
Clicking on a black link will take you to pages within the current volume. Clicking on a blue link will take to the start of the volume. Clicking on a red link will take you to either a page on the Internet (if you are already connected to the internet) or will launch your default email software (if installed on your PC). Clicking on a green link will take you to additional images and material from Jaguar Heritage Trust.
The ‘+’ sign, when it appears the left of a bookmark signifies the existence of additional ‘sub bookmarks’ within the main bookmark. Clicking on the ‘+’ will expand the bookmark to show the sub bookmarks. Some images such as the Contents Pages have additional links to assist when navigating this CDROM. These links are represented by blue rectangles, which encloses the text.
