Since our last newsletter, we kicked off the year with the National Angus Youth Roundup at Australian Equine and Livestock Centre (AELEC) in Tamworth. Four days of jam-packed education, competitions and fun, making lifelong friends and connections. Our attention then turned to our second World Class Female and Genetics Sale on 12 March, and we were thrilled with the results, especially given the Rain Gods turning off the tap amid an everincreasing drought. Many returning and new clients resulted in spirited bidding both on-property and online. We look forward to all the feedback on your purchases. We returned to the Sydney Royal Easter Show just two weeks later coming away with five firsts, a second, a third and two fourths, with many
compliments and enquiries about both our Angus Stud and Commercial programs. Three days later, it was off to King Island for weaning and loading the heavy steers to Greenhams. The lush green pastures and the sound of rain were a welcome distraction from the dust and dry conditions, where silage and hay we had brought in from Victoria to maintain the stud cattle. Our attention now turns to our very first on-property bull sale on Tuesday, 8 September 2026. We will be offering 30 stud bulls all Genomics, Performance, and Semen tested, with both rising two-year-olds and yearling bulls on offer. More details are in the coming pages. We also have new genetics on the way including SAV Courage 3003 calves, some very well-related imported embryos from Schaff Angus Valley, and semen in SAV Gravity 4118. In addition, in a very exciting development, Killain Worldwide V53, is on his way to TLG to be collected for export!

As we reflect on the previous year, it is interesting to recall that we were in the throes of the World Angus Forum this time last year. A lot has happened since then, and we are excited to share those developments with you here.
