SHEERS

Soft and diffusing, Sanderson introduces Sheers, a fabric collection inspired by the littoral life and light of Monterey Bay in California. From the waters lapping at low tide to Great Egrets taking flight along the shore, the collection translates shoreline moments into designs with a distinctly English sensibility.

From softly billowing Broderie Anglaise at a bay window to tactile linens draped around a four-poster bed, the collection spans both wide and standard widths and offers a carefully considered selection of timeless sheers.

Designs include classics – like our plains and checks – as well as highly decorative pieces, featuring hand-block printing, intricate embroidery, appliqués, and fine-cut work, alongside complex stitching.

Natural fibres give the collection a soft luminosity and tactile handle. Linen, cotton, and jute – worked in open weaves or weighted constructions – allow light to filter through while retaining a quietly textured, lived-in quality.

Together, the designs form a complete library of sheers designed to complement the wider Sanderson portfolio and be beautifully layered within a home.

Almost like a pinched check, the triangular relief variation and waving thread lines lend a wonderful sense of movement and dimension to Adrift. It’s soft with a muslin-like feel.
