Membership Picnic Aug. 5 at Hilltop Camp

COMFORT – All Hermann Sons Life members and their guests are invited to a Membership Picnic at Hilltop Camp in Comfort on Saturday, Aug. 5. Gates open at 10 a.m. Members and non-members, young and old, come enjoy a day of food, activities and fellowship. A barbecue lunch will be served at noon. The pool will be open, and a variety of activities will be available including the challenge course, giant swing, archery, Ga-Ga, basketball, pickle ball and more. An arts and crafts table will also be set up. In observance of Make a Difference Day, participants can create special greeting cards for local nursing home residents. Beat the heat in the spacious air-conditioned Dining Hall and enjoy cards, dominos and visiting with fellow members and guests. Members of the Sales team will be set up to answer questions, provide product information and even have a game or two for participants. There is no charge to attend the picnic. Dance registration opens online SAN ANTONIO – Hermann Sons Life School of Dance registration for 2023-2024 will open the week of June 26. Registration will be held online at hermannsonslife. org - scroll to the bottom of the page. Informational brochures with registration instructions will be mailed to households with eligible juniors who have not previously registered. Returning dancers will receive an email. There are currently 19 schools located in South and Central Texas. Dance locations are provided in the brochure and on the website.
The benefit is available to policyholders (members) in good standing who will be 3 to 17 years of age as of Sept. 1, 2023. Each school of dance teaches varying degrees of tap, ballet and jazz. Because these classes are a member benefit, there is no monthly tuition. However, there is a one-time registration fee and an assessment fee. Deadline to register is Oct. 1.
