Pull a small core only on the few greens that experienced heat stress
Needle tine and lightly topdress the remaining greens
Both practices are minimally disruptive and will provide the benefits of aerification while allowing for a muc quicker recovery
In addition, we will:
Core aerify the newly sodded tees to help break down the sod layer and improve long-term rooting an divot recovery.
Aerify the fairway expansion areas that were established last fall
Treat selected fairway and approach areas that have thinned during the summer to encourage improved tu density heading into late summer and fall
with additional supplies located throughout the golf course Taking a few extra seconds to fill a divo improves turf recovery and overall playing conditions
Please Repair Ball Marks
To help protect the greens during the recent heat, we have maintained slightly higher moisture lev earlier in the season As a result, ball marks have become more frequent
Please repair your ball mark and if possible, one additional mark each time you reach a green Th habit dramatically improves putting surface quality for everyone. If you would like a refresher on the repair technique, Nate or I would be happy to demonstrate it
Please Rake Bunkers
After playing from a bunker, please take a moment to rake your footprints and any disturbed sa grounds staff spends considerable time each morning preparing the bunkers for play, and proper raki every group throughout the day enjoy the conditions we work hard to provide
