Airbus As the French Government presented the country’s ambitions with regards to sustainable aviation fuel, in Toulouse, Airbus, Air France, Safran, Suez and Total acknowledge the launch of a new Call for Expression of Interest (CEI). The ambition presented set forth the conclusions of a working group which included government agencies and industrial partners, all of whom signed the Green Deal[1] in December 2017. This CEI is a fundamental first step towards the emergence of a sustainable aviation fuel industry in France. It will allow investment projects in second generation Pagină 8 din 45
sustainable aviation fuel production units in France to be identified, as well as supportive measures and incentives in favour of such investments. The implementation of an economically viable and lasting industry is key for accelerating the use of sustainable aviation fuel and for reducing net CO2 emissions in air transport. Guaranteeing that all players maintain a competitive edge in a competitive environment and helping to lead the world forward. For 18 months, industrial entities have been mobilised and are working alongside the government to promote the emergence of a sustainable aviation fuel industry in France. The initiative constitutes the first innovative partnership between public and private players in the industry. It sets forth the conditions for developing lasting industries in France in the following set of recommendations: • Mobilise the necessary volume of raw materials for the aviation sector, • Ensure that sustainable resources, especially sustainable resources sourced from the circular economy, are used to produce advanced sustainable aviation fuel, • Ensure that the industry is economically viable for all actors in the value chain through appropriate incentive schemes, • Use existing airport logistics distribution networks, • Support and promote production diversification. The expansion of sustainable aviation fuel constitutes a strategic lever for reducing net CO2 emissions from air transport over a full lifecycle by up to 80% before blend.

In 2019, Airbus CyberSecurity won five new contracts with major groups or organisations in the industrial, finance and institutional sectors, some of which are operators of essential services (OIV - Organismes d’Importance Vitale). These contracts concern the surveillance and protection of their information systems and networks from an Airbus CyberSecurity SOC (Security Operations Centre). With these five new customers, about thirty large firms and organisations now rely on Airbus CyberSecurity France to monitor their IT infrastuctures. In 2019, the National Cybersecurity Agency of France, ANSSI, qualified Airbus CyberSecurity’s French SOC at PDIS (Prestataire de Détection d'Incidents de Sécurité - Security Incident Detection Service Provider) level. Located at Elancourt in the Paris area, the SOC handles more than 3 billion security events every day. PDIS is the highest security level defined in the category of detection activities. This certification is relevant for French critical national infrastructure organisations identified as OIV, as they are required to monitor their critical information systems only with PDIS qualified services. Airbus runs SOCs in France, UK, Germany and Spain, where it monitors its customers’ digital infrastructure and ensures early detection, containment and remediation of security incidents 24/7.

Universal Avionics has been selected by Heli-One (Norway) AS to equip the new H215 helicopters of the Bundespolizei – German Federal Police (BPOL) with its SkyVis Helmet Mounted Display (HMD). Universal Avionics will partner with Heli-One to develop a European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) for the SkyVis on H215 (AS332L1e ) helicopters.

Of the four arms companies assessed, AVIC has the least disaggregated financial information. Based on the various credit rating reports on the company, total sales are divided into three sectors: whole aircraft, nonaircraft related, and services and other business.13 This matches the four main categories of military aircraft, civilian aircraft, industrial components, and logistics and services listed on the AVIC company website.14 Income from services and other business, which accounts for roughly 35 per cent of AVIC’s total revenue, is from logistics, services and transportation and can be justifiably considered as sales of civilian products.15 Pagină 10 din 45
The remaining 65 per cent of AVIC’s total revenue is divided roughly equally between sales of whole aircraft and non-aircraft-related sales. For whole aircraft sales, there is no known breakdown of the proportion of military or civilian sales. However, the 2018 credit rating report on AVIC states that most of its aircraft sales are military-related and that it aims to increase civilian aircraft sales to reach 5 per cent of total aircraft sales by 2020.16 This focus on military aircraft production is supported by AVIC’s company report and website and other sources.17 However, AVIC has a commercial partnership with Airbus on commercial aircraft with expected output to reach $1 billion by 2020.18 Among the non-aircraft-related sales, AVIC makes most types of military-aviation subsystem (e.g. avionics, radars, spare parts). However, as with whole aircraft sales, sales of military systems are not disaggregated. Based on AVIC’s credit rating reports, it is clear that a substantial share of non-aircraft sales comes from non-military and non-aircraft-related components, covering a wide range of products (e.g. power and energy, electrical equipment, electronics, industrial materials and construction).19 This suggests that AVIC has a considerable involvement in the manufacturing of industrial components. In general, for a major arms company, the value of military subsystems such as avionics and spare parts can be substantial. However, in the case of AVIC this sector includes a wide range of non-aircraft-related civilian products, which reduces the share of military-related products in total sales of non-aircraft-related products. This is likely to mean that the value of military sales in this sector is not as high as for other major arms companies. However, the lack of disaggregation makes it impossible to reliably estimate the value of arms sales in AVIC’s non-aircraft-related sales. Based on the above, the estimate of AVIC’s total arms sales includes only sales of whole aircraft. This estimate balances the overestimation of including the entire whole aircraft sector (which includes some civilian aircraft) with the underestimation of excluding the entire non-aircraft sector (which may include military subsystems). In all likelihood, however, the estimate of AVIC’s arms sales, which reached 136.1 billion yuan ($20.1 billion) in 2017, may be an underestimate as the omitted value of the military subsystems might be greater than the value of the civilian aircraft.

Based on the popular 777 and with proven technologies from the 787 Dreamliner, the 777X took off in front of thousands at Paine Field in Everett, Washington, at 10:09 a.m. local time for a three hour, 51 minute flight over Washington state before landing at Seattle's Boeing Field. "The 777X flew beautifully, and today's testing was very productive," said Capt. Van Chaney, 777/777X chief pilot for Boeing Test & Evaluation. "Thank you to all the teams who made today possible. Capt. Chaney and Boeing Chief Pilot Craig Bomben worked through a detailed test plan to exercise the airplane's systems and structures while the test team in Seattle monitored the data in real time. "Our Boeing team has taken the most successful twin-aisle jet of all time and made it even more efficient, more capable and more comfortable for all," said Stan Deal, president and CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes. "Today's safe first flight of the 777X is a tribute to the years of hard work and dedication from our teammates, our suppliers and our community partners in Washington state and across the globe." The first of four dedicated 777-9 flight test airplanes, WH001 will now undergo checks before resuming testing in the coming days. The test fleet, which began ground testing in Everett last year, will endure a comprehensive series of tests and conditions on the ground and in the air over the coming months to demonstrate the safety and reliability of the design. The newest member of Boeing's market-leading widebody family, the 777X will deliver 10 percent lower fuel use and emissions and 10 percent lower operating costs than the competition through advanced aerodynamics, the latest generation carbon-fiber composite wing and the most advanced commercial engine ever built, GE Aviation's GE9X. The new 777X also combines the best of the passenger-preferred 777 and 787 Dreamliner cabins with new innovations to deliver the flight experience of the future. Passengers will enjoy a wide, spacious cabin, large overhead bins that close easily for convenient access to their belongings, larger windows for a view from every seat, better cabin altitude and humidity, less noise and a smoother ride. Boeing expects to deliver the first 777X in 2021. The Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade ShowSM (SHOT Show®), owned and operated by the National Shooting Sports Foundation ® (NSSF®), concluded its fourday run with attendees optimistic of building on last year’s increase in sales of industry products. The show, spanning Jan. 21-24 at the Sands Expo Center, displayed products used for target shooting, hunting, outdoor recreation and law enforcement purposes. More than 55,000 industry professionals attended SHOT Show, with the number of exhibiting companies exceeding 2,500. Product display booths covered more than 692,000 net square feet, or nearly 16 acres, of exhibit space. SHOT Show pumps nearly $90 million in non-gaming revenue into the Las Vegas economy. The SHOT Show is the largest trade show of its kind in the world, attracting attendees from 115 countries in addition to all 50 states. The show credentials 2,400 members of the outdoor and trade media. In addition to the main show floors, the displays for the Supplier Showcase, NEXT section and one-day Pop-Up Preview helped accommodate many new exhibitors. Next year, SHOT Show is expanding into the new Caesars Forum exhibition facility, providing an opportunity for companies on the show’s extensive wait list to finally showcase their products to industry buyers. An Industry Making a Difference At the NSSF State of the Industry presentation, NSSF President and CEO Joe Bartozzi pushed back against those who attempt to shame and disrespect the firearms industry and gun owners because they exercise their right to make and own firearms. “Despite this disgraceful slander from certain politicians and some in the media, our industry is deeply and personally affected by the misuse of firearms,” said Bartozzi. “The difference between us and some politicians is that we are actually doing something about it.” Bartozzi pointed to the successes of NSSF programs such as Project ChildSafe®, FixNICS®, Don’t Lie for the Other GuyTM, Operation Secure Store® and NSSF’s suicide prevention initiative—collectively called “Real Solutions. Safer Communities.SM,” to help deter accidents, illegal purchases, thefts and suicide. Honoring the Industry’s Past Leaders Also at the State of the Industry, Robert Scott, Chairman of the NSSF Board of Governors, unveiled the NSSF Hall of Fame, honoring six individuals who played a key role in creating NSSF nearly 60 years ago and the SHOT Show in 1979. The inductees were three early leaders of NSSF—Warren Page, Charlie Dickey and Arnold “Rocky” Rohlfing—and three early and influential members of the NSSF Board of Governors—Harmon Williams, Bill Talley and Ted Rowe. “Honoring past leaders and their accomplishments, while at the same time keeping our focus on the future, is something we should do. Our industry, our products, our shooting and hunting activities and our champions are part of America’s story and heritage. They deserve respect and praise,” said Scott. High Praise and Quality Booth Traffic The 2020 SHOT Show drew much praise. “The SHOT Show is a great gathering place for manufacturers to showcase products and for retailers to see those products and plan for the future,” said Travis Hall, President and CEO of Browning. “There is no other opportunity like this show for retailers, manufacturers and the media to meet and then work together to grow the industry and shooting sports.” Among retailers at the SHOT Show was Justin Wilde from Wilde Armory based in Amarillo, Texas. “I’m looking at all the new products and trying to decide what to offer customers. I’m a small fish in a very big pond,” said Wilde. “I also attended and enjoyed the Supplier Showcase because I can find tools and parts to stock.” One manufacturer, Noreen Firearms of Belgrade, Montana, spoke about SHOT Show’s ability to reach a global audience. “We talked to buyers from Argentina who arrived with a photo of one of our rifles on their phones,” said Phil Noreen, owner of Noreen Firearms. “This show draws in a lot of international customers, and we meet and work with more of them each year.” “This SHOT Show has been really good for us,” said Jason Harris, Primos Hunting Vice President of Sales. “We’ve had good traffic through the booth.” Continuing the upbeat review was Delano Amaguin, Senior Sales Manager with FMG Publications. “The show this year is definitely more upbeat and positive,” said Amaguin. “There is more positive energy, and more people and companies getting business done.” The industry has seen a consistent rise in firearms sales throughout much of 2019, a rebound from a downturn in 2018, based on analysis of the federal background checks that are required for all firearm sales at retail. “The SHOT Show is going great for us. We are doing a lot of networking and we are here to make deals,” reported first-time attendee Cory Martin, Operations manager for Tyrant Designs. “It is fantastic to see solidarity in the industry.” Pagină 14 din 45
“The precision market and extreme long-range market—the 2,000-yards targets—are growing,” said Bryan James with Barrett Firearms. “The increased quality of rifles, ammunition and optics is driving this market segment.” “I work for the Nye County Sheriff’s Department and have come here to discover gear that will help me and other officers on the job,” said Deputy Jezrael Martinez.” SHOT Week Highlights Show events actually kick off a few days before the official opening and includes the 6th Annual NSSF/HAVA Golf Classic in support of Honored American Veterans Afield, which works to support the healing process of military veterans through hunting and other shooting sports activities. Other popular pre-show events were SHOT UniversityTM, an education forum for retailers, and Industry Day at the Range, an opportunity for media and buyers to experience hands-on testing of products. The Women of the Gun event, sponsored by NSSF and Women’s Outdoor News, brought together influential women who promote the gun safety messages of NSSF’s Project ChildSafe program. What leads me to believe this is that the caliber and number of 3D printing exhibitors at this year’s show continues a stark downward trend of the last several years, with 3D printing vendors from incumbents to new-entrants moving away from entertaining consumers and toward catering for professionals. The internet was used mainly to send/receive e-mails (75%), to find information about goods and services (68%), for instant messaging (67%) and online news (63%). A majority of people also used the internet to use banking facilities (58%), to participate in social networks (57%), to look for health information (55%), for listening to music (53%) and telephoning or video calls (52%).

Primul-Ministru Decizie privind numirea domnului Daniel Dragoș Tănăsoiu în funcția de secretar de stat, șef al Corpului de control al prim-ministrului1 Nr. 87 din 23-Ianuarie-2020 M. Of. Partea I nr. 51 din 27 Ianuarie 2020 G4 Media: Fost membru al Partidului Democrat, Daniel Dragoș Tănăsoiu a fost secretar general al Autorității Naționale de Reglementare în domeniul Energiei. Ziarul Libertatea a dezvăluit în august 2017 că Tănăsoiu ar fi fost reclamant de o angajată a ANR la Comisia de etică. Angajata ar fi fost logodnica lui Dan Plaveti, fost președinte al Autoritatății Naționale de Reglementare în domeniul Energiei în perioada 2010-2012. Până să fie numit secretar general la ANRE în 2012, Daniel Dragoș Tănăsoiu a fost director adjunct al Direcției Inspecție și Control General din cadrul primăriei Capitalei. În ianuarie 2008 a fost numit cu caracter temporar de fostul premier de atunci, Călin Popescu Tăriceanu, în funcția de secretar general al Ministerului Transporturilor, până la data încetării suspendării din funcţie a titularului. Potrivit declarației de avere pe 2018, soția sa este angajată a Companiei Naționale Aeroporturi București. În calitate de secretar general al ANRE, Daniel Dragoș Tănăsoiu a încasat un venit de 230.213 RON anual, adică aproape 20.000 de lei lunar.

Masa monetară în sens larg (M3) a înregistrat la sfârşitul lunii decembrie 2019 un sold de 422628,6 milioane lei. Faţă de luna noiembrie 2019, aceasta a crescut cu 2,6% (2,2% în termeni reali), iar în raport cu decembrie 2018 masa monetară (M3) s-a majorat cu 10,9% (6,6% în termeni reali). Soldul creditului neguvernamental acordat de instituțiile de credit a scăzut în luna decembrie 2019 cu 0,4% (-0,8% în termeni reali) faţă de luna noiembrie 2019, până la nivelul de 267574,3 milioane lei. Creditul în lei, cu o pondere de 67,6% în totalul creditului neguvernamental, s-a majorat cu 0,3% (-0,1% în termeni reali), iar creditul în valută exprimat în lei a scăzut cu 1,9% (exprimat în euro, creditul în valută a scăzut cu 1,9%). Comparativ cu aceeași perioadă a anului 2018, creditul neguvernamental a înregistrat o creștere de 6,6 sută (2,4% în termeni reali), pe seama creșterii cu 9,3% a componentei în lei (5,0% în termeni reali) şi a creșterii cu 1,3% a componentei în valută exprimată în lei (exprimat în euro, creditul în valută a scăzut cu 1,1%). Creditul guvernamental s-a majorat în luna decembrie 2019 cu 3,3% faţă de luna noiembrie 2019, până la 116212,2 milioane lei. În raport cu decembrie 2018, creditul guvernamental s-a majorat cu 10,1% (5,9% în termeni reali). Depozitele rezidenţilor clienţi neguvernamentali au crescut în luna decembrie 2019 cu 3,1% faţă de luna noiembrie 2019, până la nivelul de 367686,8 milioane lei și cu 11,5% (7,2% în termeni reali) faţă de luna decembrie 2018. Depozitele în lei ale gospodăriilor populaţiei au crescut cu 2,5% față de luna noiembrie 2019, până la 131 134,4 milioane lei, iar faţă de luna decembrie 2018 au înregistrat o creştere de 9,0% (4,7% în termeni reali). Depozitele în lei ale altor sectoare (societăţi nefinanciare şi instituţii financiare nemonetare) au crescut cu 5,4% (până la 110551,7 milioane lei) față de luna noiembrie 2019 și cu 10,5% faţă de luna decembrie 2018. Depozitele în valută ale rezidenţilor, exprimate în lei, s-au majorat cu 1,8% faţă de luna noiembrie 2019, până la nivelul de 126000,6 milioane lei (exprimate în euro, depozitele în valută s-au majorat cu 1,7%, până la 26363,8 milioane euro). Comparativ cu decembrie 2018, depozitele în valută ale rezidenţilor exprimate în lei au crescut cu 15,3% (exprimate în euro, depozitele în valută ale rezidenţilor s-au majorat cu 12,5%). Depozitele în valută ale gospodăriilor populaţiei, exprimate în lei, au înregistrat o creştere de 2,0% (1,6% în termeni reali) faţă de luna noiembrie 2019; exprimate în euro, depozitele în valută ale gospodăriilor populaţiei s-au majorat cu 2,0%. Comparativ cu aceeași perioadă a anului 2018, creșterea depozitelor în valută ale gospodăriilor populaţiei exprimate în lei a fost de 16,5% (majorarea a fost de 13,6% dacă indicatorul este exprimat în euro). Depozitele în valută ale altor sectoare (societăţi nefinanciare şi instituţii financiare nemonetare), exprimate în lei, au înregistrat o creștere de 1,2% (0,7% în termeni reali) faţă de luna noiembrie 2019 (exprimate în euro, acestea au crescut cu 1,1%). Comparativ cu decembrie 2018, depozitele în valută ale rezidenţilor din alte sectoare, exprimate în lei, s-au majorat cu 12,3% (exprimate în euro, acestea au crescut cu 9,5%).
