This means: You have chronic hepatitis C.

What should you do? Hepatitis C can be cured with a simple treatment and few side effects. Talk to your doctor about starting treatment. If your family or household members don’t know their hepatitis C status, we recommend that they get tested for hepatitis C. There is no vaccination for hepatitis C. Even though hepatitis C can be cured, think about how you might have got the virus and take care not to get it again. Hepatitis C is transmitted from blood to blood stream. Avoid unsterile skin penetrating procedures such as: -

home tattooing, piercing or accupuncture

dental, medical or cosmetic procedures in places without strict infection control.
