What sets this project apart is its unprecedented starting point: we use only top-tier, super premium sparkling wines from across the Henkell Freixenet Group as the foundation. Guided by the conviction that only the finest base wines can yield the finest alcohol-removed sparkling, this prototype range showcases an entirely new level of quality within the alcohol-free category - achieved purely through oenological mastery and deep know how.
Our prototype range, produced from the highest-quality super-premium wines within the Henkell Freixenet Group, is intended to showcase the potential and possibilities of creating the perfect alcohol-free drinking experience –achieved purely through oenological expertise and know-how.

With or without alcohol, every Pearls Collection sparkling wine stands for one promise: Making Life Sparkle.
Building on more than 30 years of expertise, Henkell Freixenet applies the most advanced, gentle dealcoholization technologies available. This allows us to preserve what defines a truly exceptional sparkling experience: purity of aroma, structural finesse, elegant texture, and the unmistakable sparkle.
The alcohol-removed products are non-saleable items. Under current EU legislation, sparkling wines with a protected designation of origin may not be marketed in a dealcoholized form. Consequently, the Pearls Collection Alcohol-Removed prototypes are non-saleable items, crafted exclusively to demonstrate what is possible when premium craftsmanship meets innovative dealcoholization.
ALFRED GRATIEN
Since 1864, Alfred Gratien has embodied the living soul of Champagne’s artisanal tradition. In Épernay, cellar master expertise has been passed down through the Jaeger family for generations. The house remains one of the rare Maisons crafting its wines in traditional 228-litre oak barriques, preserving texture, depth, and authenticity.
By deliberately avoiding malolactic fermentation, Alfred Gratien maintains crystalline purity and vibrant freshness. With a focus on Grand-Cru grapes, each cuvée reflects a handcrafted style that is expressive, seductive, and unmistakably Alfred Gratien - Champagne as pure art.

Founded in 1864 in the heart of the Loire Valley, Gratien Meyer has long been dedicated to crafting elegant Crémant. The winery’s historic cellars are carved deep into the region’s iconic tuff stone, providing naturally cool, quiet conditions ideal for traditional bottle fermentation and ageing. This unique terroir, combined with long-standing savoir-faire, gives Gratien Meyer Crémant its freshness, fine structure, and unmistakable Loire character.

Guided by the mild Sussex climate and distinctive sandstone soils, they identified the grape varieties that thrive best in their unique ecosystem. Today, Bolney continues this spirit of discovery and precision, crafting award-winning sparkling wines entirely on the estate - elegant, expressive, and deeply connected to the English landscape.

FREIXENET
For three generations, the Ferrer family and Freixenet have crafted cavas of distinctive character in the rolling vineyards of Penedès. Their wines reflect deep family knowledge, meticulous technique, and a passion for taste and pleasure.
In the late 1960s, the house created Cuvée D.S., honoring Dolores Sala - a woman whose dedication helped shape modern cava. Produced only in exceptional vintages, this Gran Reserva Brut embraces the traditional methods of the greatest cavas: rich body, expressive aroma, and the depth that defines true millésimé craftsmanship.

GLORIA FERRER
Born in Spain’s vineyards, José Ferrer dreamed of bringing traditional-method sparkling to the New World. When he met Gloria, a partner of grace and vision, the dream found direction. Together, they crossed the Atlantic and established the first sparkling wine estate in Carneros in 1984.
Today, Gloria Ferrer continues their legacy, crafting Pinot Noir–driven sparklers that unite heritage with innovation. Guided by their belief – “Don’t count the days; make the days count” – the winery creates bubbles for life’s most glorious moments.
