The bar - the actual physical structure, including a "three-part counter with brass balustrade, burgundy faux leather stools" and a "rear bar unit" - is open to the highest bidders as a part of the James Comisar Heritage Auction Collection. The bar has autographs from several actors, including wood carvings on its surfaces done decades ago by Ratzenberger, 76, and co-star Kirstie Alley. (The star features Rebecca Howe, for which she won a Golden Globe and an Emmy.) The bar is part of a larger auction of nearly 1,000 pieces from some of the most popular shows in the world. TV history, including Gunsmoke, I Love Lucy, Star Trek, The Office, Mad Men, Breaking Bad and All in the Family.

The actual Cheers set is based on the Bull and Finch Tavern in Boston. The show, which aired on NBC from 1982 to 1993, followed the locals who frequented the site, and also featured Ted Danson, Shelley Long, Woody Harrelson, Rhea Perlman, and Nicholas Colasanto.
