MyXP

My Experience. My Progress. My Future.

Welcome to My XP! College isn’t just about getting a qualification — it’s about finding your voice, exploring new opportunities, and preparing for your future. My XP is all about you — your experiences, your growth, and your journey. Here, your ideas matter, your ambitions are supported, and your development is at the heart of everything we do. Through getting involved in projects, sharing your views, and connecting with others, you’ll build the skills that employers value, boost your confidence, and shape the person you want to become. Together, we’ll make sure your time at college isn’t just memorable — it’s meaningful.

This is your journey, your development, and your future. Take part. Speak up. Make it yours.

How It All Works Together Your experience at college is built on these four key pillars:

Growing your confidence, character, and wellbeing

Building skills for life and work

Careers and employability support

Inclusion, equity and enriching community

This is your all-in-one personal development journey — designed to support you both inside and outside the classroom. From boosting your confidence and developing vital skills to exploring career paths and prioritising your wellbeing, everything we offer is tailored to help you grow and prepare for your future. The skills you will develop through participation in these experiences are shown on pages 10 and 11, and reflected on during My Journey and logging your activity in NAVIGATE.

As a study programme student, you will have a target to log a minimum of 10 hours across a minimum of 3 different activities for each MyXP skill. This will be logged on your personal record on the college’s Navigate system. When you have achieved this, you will then be requested to complete a reflection on how you have developed your MyXP Skills.

MyXP Badges Recognition pin badges will be provided to you to celebrate your engagement in developing individual MyXP Skills. You will receive a badge when you have: •

Logged a minimum of 10 hours over a minimum of 3 additional activities against specific MyXP Skills.

•

Completed a reflection log on Navigate showing how you have developed these skills.

Please be aware that additional activities you engage in at college will likely develop several MyXP skills at once, so please ensure you log against all skills you feel you have developed. Your GOALS tutor and Personal Tutor will support you to log and reflect on the development of these skills through the year.
