Welcome to Heartland Filmʼs signature fundraiser, Cinemania.
This is our third year, and weʼre deeply grateful for the trust and support of our sponsors, attendees, and partners who make this event possible.
Tonight, I want to take a moment to honor someone who played a pivotal role in Cinemaniaʼs success, Phil Kenney.
Shortly after joining the Heartland Film Board in 2023, Phil stepped forward to make F.A. Wilhelm Construction Co. the presenting sponsor of our very first Cinemania. He hadnʼt seen the event yet, but he believed in its potential, in Heartland Filmʼs mission, and in the power of building something meaningful for our community.
His leadership and generosity helped bring Cinemania to life, and thanks to Phil and Colleen Kenneyʼs significant commitment, F.A. Wilhelm will continue as the title sponsor for the next decade.
Phil passed away this March, but his legacy lives on in his family, his company, and the many lives he touched. He was a man of integrity, kindness, and quiet strength, and an example to us all.
Weʼre honored to have his wife, Colleen, along with family, friends, and colleagues, here to celebrate his life and continue his support for the arts.
So tonight, we raise a glass to a true legend— Phil Kenney.
