Any animal penned or stalled must be shown in at least one class. Except for exhibition animals.
No animal may be unloaded into barn until they have been checked in.

If an individual requires additional assistance or reasonable accommodation(s) to compete, they are encouraged to communicate with the department superintendent in advance so that appropriate support can be arranged.
Participation in EWD classes within a division limits entry to only those designated EWD classes in that division. Exhibitors who choose to show EWD classes in one department can show regular classes in other departments. Exhibitors with a project animal that must enter a weight-de ned market class may enter both the EWD class and the regular market class. Superintendents will work with exhibitors to accommodate any necessary support. Those exhibiting still exhibits should coordinate with the appropriate superintendent to arrange any accommodation needed. All exhibitors projects are subject to the rules of the Fair and departments (including but not limited to stalling and care).

All animals must have a proper ID when checked into the fair. (exception equine)
Exhibitors may enter multiple project animals into a class, the exhibitor however, may only enter the physical class one time, they must have someone else show the other project(s) in the entered class.
Back numbers are assigned to the person that entered the class, not the project/animal being exhibited. If said exhibitor has multiple entries in a class, that exhibitor will use the same back number with the alpha added to the back (e.g. 1234A, 1234B, 1234C).

The department has 60 days to investigate the appeal and issue a report on the ndings.
No drugs may be administered to animals without the consent of the Department Superintendent. If anyone is caught giving drugs without the consent of the Department Superintendent, the resulting action will be that the exhibitor showing the animal that was given the drug will be banned from showing that animal species again at the Midland Fair. •Order of Species: The competition should proceed in the following xed order to help with exhibitor and animal preparation: Horse, Swine, Beef, Dairy, and Sheep.
•Start Time and Attendance: The show will begin promptly at 8:00 am in the Horse Arena. All competing exhibitors should be present and checked in at the arena by 7:45 am.
•Strict Attendance Policy: To maintain a smooth and timely competition, a “No Late Exhibitors” policy must be enforced. This was a point of confusion and an issue last year that detracted from the event’s ow.
•Animal Preparation: Animals are required to be washed and prepared as if it were their respective show day. This ensures a high standard of presentation for all species.
•Exhibitor Gear: Exhibitors must have all necessary gear prepared and ready (e.g., proper halters, brushes, show sticks, whips, etc.) for each species they will be showing.
•Informational Meeting: An informational meeting for Overall Showmanship will be held with date and time to be posted.
