an’t stand to exercise, try this.
Henry is a 64-year-old salesman referred to New Heart Fitness and Health for cardiac rehabilitation one week after suffering a heart attack when a stent was placed in a coronary artery. Before I even started my consultation, Henry let me know how much he hated to exercise and was only here because his wife insisted. He explained he really didn’t have time to exercise. Our goal for him was to find a workout program that he would like and stay with. His other risk factors for a second heart attack included obesity (BMI a measure of height vs weight normal is 18-25). that we would address with nutation classes emphasizing the Mediterranean diet. His cardiologist started medication for hypertension and a statin for his cholesterol. I explained that he would ultimately like to achieve the goals advised by the American Heart Association: 150minutes of moderate aerobic exercise (75 minutes of high-level exercise) and strength training 40minutes a week. Sadly, studies have found that after 3 years fewer than 40% of patients like Henry were even exercising regularly and only 20% were following the guidelines.

While the AGH is large in size and has a big sting compared to other hornets, it is typically not aggressive with humans (Whew! That’s a relief). As always, those allergic to bee or wasp stings should practice caution and avoid contact with hornets in general.
