Our team at HCPA, our partners and providers look forward each year to the Care Awards, not only because it is a real opportunity to recognise some amazing people but also because we want to showcase some beautiful stories.
Every day someone in care makes a difference to someone who needs support, we know this goes pretty much unnoticed and so our Awards are the place where we can say “we notice, and we thank you!”.
People working in Social Care are professionals, they are not only people doing the job, they are people who go above and beyond, they get to know families and provide not just hands on care but also the psychological support which is vital for families to hold it together in difficult times.
These awards pick out some of our care shining stars, but we also know there are so many acts of kindness every day which go unnoticed, and we want to applaud each and every compassionate action. We are delighted that you have been able to join us tonight in celebrating everything that is good in care!
