Family Rosary Philippines reached a milestone this year by hosting their 20th Annual Children’s Rosary Rally. The Father Peyton Family Institute is partnering with the University of Notre Dame on a research initiative aimed to address domestic violence in Peru. This will help inform and improve our future services. CatholicMom.com's podcast continues to serve more parents each week, helping them explore important topics relating to family, faith, and fun. On October 12, 2018, Family Rosary East Africa celebrated Rosary Month and Our Lady of the Rosary with a Children’s Rosary Rally. More than 900 students from 15 schools participated in Uganda. The award-winning Catholic Central series recently released new episodes including “Praying with the Bible: Lectio Divina,” “Catholic Dating,” and “Anointing of the Sick.” Family Rosary Canada hosted the 70th Anniversary of the first Rosary Rally held by Father Peyton in the Diocese of London. This celebration for families took place in November 2018 at Saint Mary’s Parish in London, Ontario. Father Jomon Kalladanthiyil, C.S.C. joined our team as National Director of Family Rosary. Father Jomon is from Kerala, India and for the past four years he has been the Director of Pastoral Ministry at Saint Joseph's Oratory in Montreal, Quebec. Welcome Father Jomon!

What's Next?
The Museum of Family Prayer is set to open in spring 2019 at the Father Peyton Center in Easton, Massachusetts. The Museum will be a contemporary, interactive experience that will illustrate the evolution of prayer, the inspiring story of Father Patrick Peyton’s life, and how his legacy continues to impact families around the world. This will be the first and only museum in the world dedicated to family prayer and will include newly designed spaces for interactive family prayer and spiritual growth programs. We also have aspirations to renovate our Chapel and Rosary Walk and to create a space in Easton where pilgrims can honor Father Peyton, whom we pray will one day be the “Saint for Family Prayer.” The Try Prayer! It Works! Contest stretches across the globe, from the Philippines to East Africa to the United States and beyond. The program brings the Church’s teachings to life around the dinner table as children and their families are provided discussion prompts, reflection questions, and faith-based art projects to inspire spiritual growth and prayer. The theme for the 2019 contest, “Mary, Mother of the Church,” will help families explore how Mary isn’t only the Mother of Jesus, but also Mother to us all.
