The coronavirus pandemic is testing the mettle of Hawai‘i’s communities in ways that we have not experienced before in our modern history. While we’ve recently faced natural disasters and the Great Recession of 2008, the impacts of this pandemic are already extraordinary. HCF hosted five virtual information and engagement sessions between April 15-21, 2020 to share about what we are doing to support our communities and, you, our nonprofit partners through which so much of the hard work gets done. We provided information about our grantmaking and shared resources that may be helpful to you. We also discussed what we’re learning and raised questions about what we don’t know.
